Ok, I'm going with my friend and a girl whom i like very much to his beach house in North Carolina. I know she likes me alot too, so i wanna do something memorable there, just anything thats a possibly a bit romantic, but will surprise her. His house is walking distance to the sound and the beach, so maybe watch the sunset or something?

The beach definately sets the right mood. You two can walk on the beach and talk and watch the sunset. Then look at the star. That would be so perfect. Then you gently kiss her on the cheek, which of course will lead to others. It's a bit cliche, yes, but take advantage of it. Everybody loves the beach!

It's bullet proof, especially if you know she cares for you.

that would only work if it's a completely still day. otherwise it's window and you'll end up lighting your blanket on fire.

the beach at night is romantic just by itself. I used to live by the beach. sadly, I was single that entire time, except for at the very end, where my gf failed to notice the pretty stars and would just complain about the cold and sand. *sigh*

Some fireworks would probably be a nice idea. People don't regularly have fireworks. Combine those with the beach and it should be memorable.

Don't do a picnic. No offense to the previous posters idea. It's a bit too mature for your age. Also, it's not very logical to have a romantic picnic on the beach. The wind is bad, especially at this time of the year, you can't have candles(obviously) so that just destroies that idea.
