...if she put alot of effort into looking good?

The reason I ask, is because just a few weeks ago, I saw this girl that I know, who normally doesn't look that great. But that night, OMG did she ever look hot. She put on make-up and dressed really sexy, and did her hair and all that. Usually she puts practically no effort into her look.

Anyway, I rarely compliment girls on their looks (because if they're hot, they're ego is already probably inflated enough), but being kinda drunk, and the fact that she normally doesn't look very good, I just couldn't stop mentioning it.

Then I realized that maybe it's not really a compliment.

Maybe it sounds bad because she has to put effort into looking good...

Do you think I made her feel good about herself or bad?

it's not as good of a compliment as "you are a natural beauty, and you look good no matter what." and to some degree, she will be aware that she has to put effort into looking good. but it is still a compliment. at least she knows there's SOME way for her to get the attention of males! (just don't say, "you don't usually look this good!")

If a woman puts effort into looking good, then typically they will like their work to be acknowledged.

If you mention it, they'll take it as a compliment. If you dwell on it, it just gets creepy.

Well it was major transformation. It was like on the movie The Princess Diaries when she gets that make-over.

Most of you probably haven't seen that movie though.

Let's just say, I think it was the first time I've ever changed my stance on whether or not I would have sex with someone. That's how much of a difference it made.

She doesn't do it all the time though. It was a one-time thing.

I saw her last night, and she was back to normal, like she just rolled out of bed and came out.

I still see her a little bit differently, even though she never dresses up anymore, because I will always remember the way she looked that one night.

i love the way guys' minds work. all you have to do is dress sexy and they suddenly see you differently.

a friend of mine, monica, never dressed or acted sexy. then there was this dare thingy where she had to come out and perform a dance wearing like, a "bra" made out of chocolate frosting and candies stuck on her naked body, with short-shorts. suddenly, it was revealed that she had great boobs and nice abs. even though i don't think she ever dressed in a revealing way after that, a lot more guys seemed to take interest in her.

It's true. It makes a HUGE difference. I don't get why some girls don't put any effort into how they look when they actually know how.

If I knew of ways to make myself look better, I'd probably do them too.

Lol. No, I think it was something along the lines of: "Wow, you look really, really good tonight!"

Apparantly I said it a few times.

I was really drunk (this was at a bar), and I ended up doing lines of coke in the bathroom with a friend, and then later on, I was given a cap of E.

So the night gradually became very blurry.

Well normally girls who dont exactly get that compliment of "looking good" might consider it that they only look good in what their wearing (which does included make up in situations that their wearing it). Now no matter what happens, it'll always be shown as a compliment. Though this sends messages "in between the lines" if you get what i mean. She might get the sense that she is normally ugly, or doesnt look good when she dress normally. But all n' all, it was ment as a compliment and should be taken as a compliment.
