Cervical cancer
Doesn't really fit here, but I figured a moderator might know. If you were discovered to have pre-cancerous cells on your cervix, what would the expected prognosis be a year later?

Re: Cervical cancer
I dont know if id be asking totse about this. Im pretty sure the most common answer should be "im not a doctor so i really cant tell you."

Re: Cervical cancer
Pretty good, I think. It's not cancer yet, so they can just blast those cells out of there, and then you're all good. But yeah, ask a doctor/google.

Re: Cervical cancer
It depends on the location and number of these cells. There's a chance of you getting rid of them still, but you've got to take advantage of that quickly, I believe.

Re: Cervical cancer
Cervical cancer must be one of the toughest things on the entire planet. I'm lucky I don't got a cervix - lost it in 'nam.
Luckily cervial cancer should be a thing of the past, with the new vaccine out.
If i had two wishes they might just be; 1) To be able to give every cervical cancer sufferer a big hug, 2) for that hug to cure the cancer.

Re: Cervical cancer
There is some kinda shot out now that prevents cervical cancer, my doctor told me about it. I'm not really sure if it would work if you have a few cancerous cells or not but you could always ask. And if they catch it early you can get rid of it.
