So there was this girl I met that I thought I really wanted to be with, and then her boyfriend broke up with her. Then we hung out more, then I whispered her some sweet words and nothing happened. And then, whilst drunk, she asked me to whisper them again. I did, then there was a kiss... and then she got way too sick. I took care of her dutifully, and drunkenly led her back to her dorm, but I can't look at her the same. I kinda don't want her in any romantic sense anymore, i've found myself seeing her as less attractive (as heavier, etc). I tell myself I need someone who can take care of herself 'cuz I can barely take care of myself, but what I think I really mean is that I probably wouldn't mind taking care of someone hotter. I have no problem with being shallow, I just feel like I should say something to her. Like should I give it to her straight or give her a lie? I'm usually for giving shit straight, but would that be way too fucking harsh? Mixed truth?

If she does that more than a few times though, then you know that she's that kind of girl who can't stop herself when she drinks...And then tell her the truth, because if that's the case, she probably has a wee bit of a drinking problem.

I think she just thought I expected her to be able to drink more (she gave me that impression so it wasn't an entirely misguided expectation) so I didn't stop her or anything. She may have been trying to impress me.

And i totally would give her another chance, but now she seems fatter. That's the thing. Like, significantly. This is over the course of maybe a week or so of events.

Perhaps instead of telling the truth you should just get drunk with her MORE and let her do less drinking and you do more. That way she looks hotter, and you dont have to take her back to her dorm.

She couldn't have gotten noticeably fatter in just week. That's your imagination or she was always a little bit chunky, but for some reason you didn't notice until now.
