Okay, so I went to a family reunion this past summer and I had a second cousin that I had never met before that was there. She is my age and we both seemed to hit it off really well. We had some deep talks about life and at one point I felt the need to kiss her mid-sentence.

How close is too close in the family tree? First cousin is way too close, second I have a feeling is probably a bit too close...third?...fourth?

I guess second cousin would be fine by me. The thing is though, I don't know of any of my second cousins, considering I know basically no one on my mother's side of my family since I haven't lived with her in a decade, and I haven't met anyone that far away from me genetically in my father's side.

My mom recently remarried & her husband's nephew (my cousin) who is adopted wanted to date me. It really, really weirded me out. He told me he didn't want me to change my last name so it wouldn't be akward. I basically told him he was fucked in the head & socially retarded.
