Lead on for a week, strangely subdued.
Pretty girl, dropping hints of a crush of hers. Was it me? I don't know, it could be... I better not ask. New developments, she wasn't quite sure, but it wasn't me.
Oh well. Life goes on.
Do tell of your experiences of leading on, or being lead on.

Re: Lead on for a week, strangely subdued.
Me and ol' girl were very close friends for a couple months. We talked to each other about everything; in fact, some people thought we'd been dating for a while because we were so close. We heard it all the time, and there was always something there that made us both blush when it was brought up.
Then finally one day, I was messing with her on my doorstep and we kissed. She wasn't over her ex, so I let it go. About two weeks later, we both kissed again and decided to go for it. It was great for a while.
Then a month or so into it, out of nowhere, she says she just wants to be friends again. I took it -really- badly over the next four months or so because I felt like I was being backstabbed.
I'm still not over her. And to this day, she hasn't given me an answer for why she did it.
I'm done with women.

Re: Lead on for a week, strangely subdued.
Became friends in the beginning of the year, we got sorta close. She tells me that she wants to party with me, that she wants to drink with me, wants to chill, etc. etc. Now she isn't exactly your little virgin nerd girl, she knows how to have fun, so I naturally take this the way it sounds.
I try to make plans because she's been bugging me all the time, she becomes kinda distant, now we don't really talk at all.

Mate, sounds like she was indecisive. Sorry that you lost such a good friendship
