Doesn't... sound like a good idea, does it? If she's probably straight, and you aren't even sure about your feelings for her.

I guess the best thing to do would be to try to find out more about her orientation without making it too obvious that you're interested, and at the same time try to figure out if you really are interested.

Does she know you're a lesbian? Maybe like... next time you're watching tv be like "Damn, that chic is hot. Dont you think so?" and see how she reacts. Prod a bit and see if she seems to have any interest in women. If not, dont press the issue or she'll just start feeling uncomfortable around you, and move on.
