Ok so It's been like a year since I've been wanting to go out with this girl and finally she is giving me a chance to talk to her and stuff. But when I see her I don't know what to say. All I'm thinking is "gotta say something, gotta say something" and I don't say anything. I stink at getting girls and this time I would like that girl to be my GF. But I stink at starting a conversation, or keeping it going. I know that many of you totseans have a g/f and please could you give me some advise?

You could, if you have nothing else to say, just start off by finding something you really like about her and complimenting it. It would break the ice and you could start feeling comfortable enough around her to start an actual conversation. From there you could talk about things you both enjoy; find a common ground and move on from there. Ask her about music, mention some good bands, ask if she's been to any good shows. Suggest good books [assuming you do read] movies... Simple things like that. It shouldn't be so complicated to just get to know someone.

You might really want to ask yourself why you want this girl so badly. Is it just nerves that make you silent, or lack of anything to say to her?

Without knowing much about the situation, I would sugest you just be yourself, and view her as a friend you don't care about impressing. If she doesn't want to accept you as you are, then it really isn't worth it.

Hey,you gotta say something even if it's stupid because if you dont you will always be alone..Maybe she would like to talk to you but also cant figure out what to say....Tell her that she smells good,she has pretty hair, a great smile and how you admire her intelligence..Is she into computers? That would be something you could use to get your foot in the door..

Just talk about what's on your mind. The one thing that annoies us is that it takes forever for guys to treat us like actual humans beings. We're just like you, with a vigina and boobs.

If you've been obsessive over her for about a year you should know what she likes to do. Take her somewhere, talk about music, philosophy, whatever. Teach her new things if she doesn't know how to go about conversing these matters. Just treat her like a good friend and she'll fall head over hills for you.

If she has atleast the slightest bit of common sense she'll laugh her ass off if you try pulling those lame pick up lines. Don't say those to get you points, tell her how you really feel. Sometimes the truth is a lot better anyways.
