ok so, my previous relation got broken in a...weird way

so now i've been 3 years with a girl in the same class i kind of start liking (i never payed alot of attention to her cous she was very childish at that moment)

thing is i heard a friend of her say she always finds me looking mad at her (which never was my intention to do so)

i've been smiling, blinking at her and stuff already

i never spoke alot to her and when we had to do projects or work together on stuff at school she always "forgot" her piece of the job so she shouldn't present it with me

1 year ago she didn't dare to sit next to me in a bus when some one asked her to sit next me so they could talk

thing is that if we'd start being together it would bug me a bit cous of her being in the same class as me

i've also got some problems with getting attached to some one i like. i had like these 2 voices in my head saying go forth with it and like this other side that said to...i don't know, something like dump her/do your worse (i've always had a bit of problems expressing myself emotionally, the cause of this is also that my sister's boyfriend died few years ago, guess it keeps hanging in my head)

totse... i need advice, i 'need' a girl FFS!

That part for one, you want to date her...but you dont want to see her on a regular basis? I wasnt entirely sure what you wanted from this girl.



Anyways. As strange as it sounds, being an asshole to girls for years doesnt disqualify you. When you finally come around and soften up, it makes them feel like they accomplished something. Just go out of your way to be as nice as you can, and talk to her as much as possible. Offer to help her with whatever you can, and do 'sweet' things for her. Then after a week or two confess that you like her and just ask her out.

well what i meant by it is that...i would find it a bit awkward for me to be in the same class as her, seeing her on a regular basis wouldn't be a problem for me...i think

thing also is that i listen to metal and dress like it (not with spike and stuff, not to extravagant) and she listens to techno/r&b

i sometimes wear normal clothes but that's only when i go out with other people i know

and i don't see myself confessing after few weeks that i like her... would be shit for me if she'd reject me

I was like you in high school I'd find a girl that I thought was really cute and intelligent and I'd crush over her and spend the next few months trying to find a way to ask her out.

It never worked. Ever. The more you think about it, and the more you dwell over it, the worse your chances are.

The best way to get girls is to ask them out -before- you have any emotional attachment. That way rejection doesnt mean anything. If you see a girl you're attracted, talk to her, and see if she's interested. Chances are, she wont be.

It's a numbers game. If you ask 10 girls out, you might get 2 dates. And thats still pretty damn good.
