Default OK so I told her how I felt. . .

I said:

"Can I tell you something and you won't get mad?"

She says:

"Yeah, what?"

I says:

"I am absolutely infactuated with you. ."

She says:

"Thats nice. . ."

What did she mean? Dose she hate me?

Doesn't seem she shares your feelings, probably will avoid you now

You really should have gone with liking her instead. Doesn't have that creepy wibe in it

I started out by telling her I had a crush on her, a few months passed, I hinted around, and now tell her that I am infactuated (rather then coming right out and saying "Krista, I love you"), and this is how it turns out.

Lesson: Honesty is never the best policy

You should've raped her, then said, "oh by the way, I really like you".

Haha, I'm sorry about the insensativity, but that made me laugh. Couldnt' you have done it in a more 'adult' sort of way, instead of "you cant' get mad at me" or something like that.

The fact that she said "that's nice" seems like she didn't care all that much, Did you tell her this in person, or over IM ?

Telling someone you're infatuated with them will only scare them for fuck's sake.

You should have told her you really liked her, and been GROWN UP about it, rather than just coming out and putting her in a completely dominant position. She'd only like a guy like you if you were something special and made her feel special. Understand? By telling her you're infatuated with her she now knows a) you're not very special (as you're just willing to hand yourself over to someone so easily) and b) you won't be making her feel special because she won't feel like she's achieved anything.

Think about it this way: if the fattest, nastiest, ugliest, most horrific girl in the world told you she was infatuated with you, would you feel good about yourself? Would you feel special? Would you show her off to your friends?

Fuck no. And in this situation, to her, you're like that fat ugly girl.

Because all this time I have been really cool with her, and talked with her about every one of her problems and stuff, asked nothing in return, and now it turns out I had a reason other than being a good friend.

You dig?

That is just not the way to lead. It makes it sound as if you're guilty; from your explanation it sounds as if that's how you feel.

At least she seemed kind. I've seen those situations where the girl ends up phoning the police. Holy shit.

But all in all, if you walk in tomorrow like you never said that, then... It's all good. You act cool, she follow.

See how this works?

There's no 'c' it's just infatuated. She probably understood though.

Look at it this way: Is she really worth having in your life if she would give up on a friendship over something so trivial?

You see, friend.

In being her shoulder to cry on, you slipped into the 'friends ladder'.

Meaning she doesn't even think of you sexually anymore, sparing her emotions for Jimmy porking her in a bathroom stall.

Lesson; Being a girl's close friend in order to get her will never, ever fucking work.

It doesn't mean you have to be an ass to her.

But don't cater to her every whim (be aloof sometimes), and when you're together, keep it in her mind that you're a sexual option by flirting.

Not just verbal, put your hands on her! If you do it confidently enough she won't mind.

After you've attracted her attention and been aloof enough for her to think.

"Wait, what?! I like him, why isn't he asking me out?! I really want him."

Then it's time to strike. But never use the word 'date' until after she uses it.

You seem pretty young. I would guess 14-15? She completely understood what you said, and she doesn't like you anymore. I know thats a hard mutha fuckin fact of life, but it's best to pick yourself up and move on. Don't talk to her any more. You'll just seem like a desperate, creepy loser.

I know that it hurts. It may hurt for awhile, but eventually you get over it. As you get older it gets easier. Let me give you some advice though. Don't count on being a girl's friend as a way to get to her heart. http://tinyurl.com/7l1m The Ladder Theory. Take it to heart.

You shouldn't limit yourself to one girl in high school. Listen carefully, because this is the truth. You'll never, ever be around so much pussy ever again.

You need to stop talking to her. She does not share your feelings, and in doing anything to try and get her back you will only make yourself fall into the trap that so many guys have fallen into. STOP talking to her completely. Erase her #. Erase her from everything. You don't need her. She is only one girl. High school and University are for meeting people and getting to know who you really are. Don't wrap yourself up in one girl.

What happened with her is that she probably just saw you as a friend, maybe someone safe to flirt with because she didnt think you'd like her. Well, many girls are heartless bitches, and they simply don't care that you like them. They'll bitch & moan, though, when Johnny Asshole doesn't like them or reciprocate or do anything other than assfuck them. Everyone has feelings, and everyone gets hurt. Just take it, learn a little, and let go of her. If she's that callous and uncaring about your feelings then she isn't deserving of your time.

I suppose the lesson from all of this is that you aren't meant to be with every girl. Keep trying, and realize that she's just one girl off the list. You have to cross off a ton of girls off that list before you find the right one to be with. You'll have all types of relationships, long ones and short ones, in your life. Let this one go, and learn from it. You did a good thing by being honest; that's not the mistake. The girl wasn't right for you, and that's just a hard lesson you need to swallow.

I was talking to some people and they think that perhaps she didn't understand what I meant, and just thought I was being a dickhole.

How does her being all flirty and up in my space constitute not liking?

I am going to talk to her tommarow and see if maybe there was a loss in communication. ..

Wish me luck!

its impossible to stop talking to her. I didn't meet her threw school (I would never concider a chick from school) I met my sister because she lives at her house (rents from my sister's dad) and I hang out all the time.

Long story short I either drop my own family or I endure the embaresment

I don't know your situation, but I pulled the same thing. We were really close friends, so we stayed close. I pulled it twice more, then just told her I was over in that way (in a way to explain that we could be friends same as always) AND THAT'S WHEN SHE FUCKING CAVED. Act like you don't like her any more, maybe it'll work.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but your saying that she might have feelings for me but is just hiding them?? I'm sorry, I'm just so confused. But acting like I don't like her anymore might bring out her feelings, or will just save our friendship? Either way its good with me

As to all these people talking about "friends ladder" etc, and how it's impossible to jump from this ladder into a dating ladder...

It's essentially true. The problem is, the "friends ladder" is not appropriately named. You see, you're her friend, but you'll find that rarely is she your friend. You can be the person to listen to all her problems, but just try opening up a proper man-sized problem on her - she'll be gone in a flash.

So your saying she was using me for support and a shoulder to cry on. . . I don't think that was the case. . . . She recently dumped her BF because he doesn't care about her life in any way.

Maybe I should have waited for the rebound to be over?!

You didn't do anything 'wrong'...she just didn't like you as you liked her. Move on to one of the other 3.7 billion.

Alright, I tried calling her for the past howmany days, and she is always at fucking work. (confirmed btw).

So I left her a little message on her phone saying "I love you Krista, I always have. It kills me knowing that you will never feel the same way. . ."

And she hasn't replied back to me. . .

Least you had the guts to say something.

Now work on your spelling and next time it might be better.

Just talk to her, say some shit along the lines of "I'm sorry about what I said if it freaked you out, but I really like you" and if she just says she isn't interested you can still probably be friends with her.

What a stupid whore. Forget about her. Seriously, if you weren't infatuated you would see that she is obviously not worth any of your time or effort.

Though something like this could have been posted before, i would like to post it again (and if this hasnt been posted yet, then good for me ). Every girl is diffrent, even if all basic mental structures are the same. She could mean that she wants to break up with you, or she could want to think it over and maybe, just maybe if she thinks that it could happen she will go out with you. Then there's another thought: she didnt get what you ment. Most poeple just say, "Jennifer, I'm in love with you." That kinda thing. Update us with info if you can, i would like to know what happens.

True. . .

I am just in utter disbelief that she would do that rather than just fucking say something like "I don't feel the same way. . "

idk. .

You have to accept it, I'm sorry that it's the response you received. There is nothing there for you in the way you're looking towards.

That is all.

For the most part, I agree with the latter theory, other then the rating format, it's true for I'd say 85% of the population, comes from observation and a tiny bit of experience. That 15% is the "LIEK OMGF, I WANT TO PISS LOVE ON YOU" relationship material. You can make a friend into a girl/boyfriend.

But there is a time limit. Different for every person and situation. It's basicly the ammount of time that passes by in a friendship before it is sealed into a friendship. Sometimes it's a few months. Sometimes a year. Rarely is it more then a year. I speak from observation and questioning people when I say this.

You should leave this girl alone for a few months now...Let her come back on her own if she ever wants to ofcourse.

how about, find some other girls to get interested in, and realize they're not all the same and some are bound to dislike you, while others will find you appealing...

She just called me and cleared things up.

It wasn't her who texted that very rude reply, it was her friend Paul.

Well I had thought it a little odd that she would mutter her hate for me when I left her a voice mail.

But now she is EXTREAMLY flirty with me.

Thanks for the help though Totse.

Don't be hurt, act as though you said it as a joke. In fact say 'Infactuated with you'. Act as though you culdn't be infatuated with her.

You can go from friend to lover with girls it happens all the time. But not by saying 'I love you can we be lovers' bt rather by teasing her being mildly suggestive and flirting with her. Why is that so hard to understand.

And all the guys saying that you can't go from friends to lovers why would you go out with someone who wan't your friend.

If there's one thing I've learned, it's that having one of those conversations in which you pour out your soul and give your heart on a platter to a girl NEVER, EVER, EVER works if you want to get with her. Don't do it.
