Default Romantic meals?

I'm not one to toot my own horn but I'm pretty confident in my cooking skills. So, totse, help me out here. What can I make to get into this girl's pants (other than roofie casserole)?

I often like to make a complete meal, so maybe steak or barbequed chicken with vegetables like carrots, asparagus and califlower

Maybe have some wine. Pasta is always good. I think whatever you make will be fine if its just a complete surprise, like invite her over and before she comes make the meal and have it basically almost done by the time she gets home

Thanks for the serious reply man. That's what I was thinking because I do have some chicken in the freezer. I'm just not sure what to do with it. Barbeque doesn't sound bad at all.

Any other suggestions?

not bbq.

i vote lemon chicken. maybe another type of grilled/baked chicken in a citrusy or mild sauce.

women usually enjoy lighter dishes when on dates, it makes us feel less like a pig, and bbq is messy and makes us feel gross. lemon smells very nice when you cooks with it too. and also, because it is light and freshing, she would probably be up for some...dessert...

Put some aphrodesiacs in (Avocado?)

And give her some chocolate (aphrodesiac) for dessert.

She will be so wet after your viagra-meal. Trust me on this one

PASTA PASTA PASTA!!

Well, I would like it anyway. Fry up some onions and garlic in olive oil add a bunch of spinach, brie cheese (and any other cheese you want),and diced tomatos. Simmer it all until it's all melty and delicious, then whirl it through the blender and pour over your girl's favourite pasta.

Or bake chicken breasts in tomato sauce and feta cheese and serve over orzo.

Neither of these need recipes, they're the kind of thing that you make and just throw in anything else yummy you might have.

I can say without a doubt that those "aphrodisiac" foods don't work immediately. Although maybe it's just me, but if I have a lot of choclate one day then it wont be until the next day that I will be super-horny.

aviod garlic if you're planning on getting close, both of you will be sweating garlic in less than 20 minutes. Also if you're having wine after a glass or 2 the garlic leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Go for a light fish with lemon and peper for the main and get creative for a side?

Keep it light and you need raw meat. Either steak tartare or carpaccio(assuming you can handle a knife).

Make sure you chop not grind/food processor the tartare though.

Also VEAL never fails to get a reaction.

As long as they both eat garlic, they wont be able to smell it on each other.

hmmm Penis a la art de Armin Meiwes....

Not everyones taste but hell...each to his own. Personally i think he'd be better off just ordering her a pizza...cock eating seems a little much for a first date :P

(btw Armin said that sauteed cock is rather rubbery and not really worth the effort).

Spaghetti, straight up.

It's simple as hell, and it's still romantic. Anyone can cook it. And set up a little candlelight picnic out back, and you cant -not- get some.

Of course, it might be a little demeaning if you actually have real culinary skills. But it still works.

Au contraire cooking spaghetti well is beyond some proffessional chefs.

Mine's not bad but it could be better. Getting it just right is a skill. ..that some Italian Restuarants don't posses either.

You can hardly call what they have a life (unless it's freerange), so does it really matter when we kill them?
