I don't see what your problem is. Girls offers sex, you have sex with girl. Simple.

It's very hard to get over insecurities. I can relate to you in that sense. Think about it, she's throwing her self at you, yet you're still doubting your self.

She obviously thinks you're good enough. She's giving you the time of day.

What other issues are holding you back? Are you sexually experienced?

Well to make things clearer I've never actually met her. She is well desperate for some action because she hasn't had any in months after readily having it available in the past.

I wouldn't say I'm totally inexperienced but admittedly I am new to 'the game' as up until just recently I was grossly overweight and never actively chased skirt as it were.

The problem lies in her thinking I'm something I'm not looks-wise. I didn't fool her she just got an image of me in her head that isn't right - I've told her this too but she still doesn't accept it or whatever.

I don't want to fuck up the relationship we do have.

Trousersnake, I used to think exactly like you do and have much of the same situation. I still kinda do but am slowly starting to change. Its not easy, but I would say go for the girl. It'll be weird at first but just roll with it man, you might come to realize that you are better looking then you think you are. I still can't see what this girl im with now sees in me, she is pretty good looking and I still see myself as just fat and ugly. The only way that I've made any progress is by pretty much saying "fuck it all" and just trying to truly not care. So what if you get there and you aren't as hot as she thinks you are, she won't, but is it the end of the world? No.
