After much bitching, crying, moaning, thinking, crying, talking, crying some more... I'm done.

If there's an opportunity in the future, then great. If not, I could have done better but you gotta learn, right?

Of course it still hurts. More than I'd have imagined. Even more, now that I found out the rest of it. And I don't expect to feel better any time soon... as I've seen you guys say to other people in the same situation, the only way to get over it is time.

I deliberately keep emotions out of the way in all relationships, but I realized that's no way to deal with it. This time, I gave it a chance, and I lost. And it hurts SO bad, but I know there's nothing I can do about it but wait.

Classes start wednesday. Only recently have I realized how excited I am to start studying. The other day, I actually looked through my old history notes to make a post that probably two people read, but I felt like I'd actually accomplished something. And whether those two people enjoyed it or no, I taught them something. It sounds stupid and insignificant, but it really made me sure of what I want to do... and it shocked me, even. I want to be a history teacher... after all those years of saying "history is so boring" and "god, I could never be a teacher."

So I've done the hardest part, which is moving on. I guess I just have to wait for the rest of it to heal.

Time heals all wounds that aren't fatal... And I'm fairly sure you'll live, babe.

No, I wouldn't say no.

I haven't moved on, I'm in the process. But besides that, I meant that I'm not going to actively persue anything... if he happens to come my way, I'd love to try again. I think if we were both at different points in our lives, it would have worked out.

That'll just make it take longer. It won't solve anything, except to make me feel alright for a few hours.

Drinking is definitely not an option, as I'll just get more depressed. I'd rather handle it without depending on people/drugs.

All right, I was just offering some advice. I have a tough time dealing with this sort of stuff. If I try sleeping, I can't, because my mind won't stop thinking about her, and it brings a lot of bad memories. It's always been easier for me to pass out than go to sleep, I just ain't ready to think about her yet.

Yeah, it is easier.

But it just makes it last longer.

I wasn't trying to be rude, I've just had way too many people offer me alcohol/weed and I'm really tired of them pushing it on me. I know they're trying to help, but I just want to sulk for a few days.

As soon as classes start I think I'll be fine. I just need something to take my mind off things.

You weren't rude, don't worry. I'm just saying that it's easy to forget about things when you've got school to take your mind off it, but when night comes and you gotta lay in bed for hours before you fall asleep...well.
