I see it all the time, good guys doing totally insane things for the slim chance that it'll get a woman's affection

Come on guys, look at yourselves and think for a minute.

The power balence between men and women has shifted. We no longer live in a society where our position of males is advantagous.

Forget women for a while.

Learn what makes you happy, learn what makes you a man.

Medicate yourself with masturbation and realise that women are not necessary.

Take the power back.

Be unavailable, be uncompromising, grow some freaking balls.

Women are just human, full of flaws. They won't all sit down and think about how to not hurt you, how to make you feel fine, they're not godesses, they're out for their own, the best partner.

They're just people like you and I. So treat them like people.

Learn to not give a fuck about what women think if it makes you unhappy.

Black eyed peas are the perfect example "you can look but you can't touch". Hey, fuck that!

Don't even look, then see how long they'll keep playing that game.

Women are not the center of the universe.

Some may call you a chauvinist, but who the fuck cares? They're still chained to the moistened pit from which they came. At least you can think for yourself.

The irony is, the more you follow this, the more attractive you are to women- and the more you just won't care about women.

Short version:

Be a man, grow some balls, say 'cunt', get a job, smoke some dope, buy some crap, spend time with your friends.

Women are not the basis of enjoying life or the standard of success, they're something extra.

You have to be independent.

Most important part of the whole post.

It's SO true! Very recently had a date. It was going shittily. Things weren't working in my favour. Girl was totally cold towards me. No physical contact etc. So I just kind of "switched off", just started looking around, bored and uncaring. Totally stopped giving a fuck. From that point on she worked harder and harder to get my attention. Which ended with her grabbing me by the front of my jumper, and pulling my mouth into hers.

It just clicked, straigt away.

Girls want attention.

Don't give it to them, and they'll try to earn it.

This doesn't apply to all girls, you'll either know the type of girl I'm talking about or not. But yeah, it works brilliantly.

Last tip, don't get carried away with it. There's a line. As with all things, finding the right balance is the hardest part.

i agree to an extent. Too many males today are obsessing over how to impress women, and are ultimately suffering for it. But still, women are also experiencing the same thing as men are

I read that and simply see a frustrated guy that wants power over women.

There are small kernels of wisdom in that rant, but it's peppered with thoughtless ramblings.

words of a frustrated male who feels controlled, yes.

but words to live by.

words i already live by.

and i stand by it. the most interested a girl has ever been in me, was when i haven't cared what she thought of me.

It's a spiteful thing, if you do this to a girl on purpose. ANd i mean, really, anything like this that a girl does to a boy now, is reactionatory. because men have been fucking with women for longer.

but still.

what we need is a balance.

we need to come to some kind of truce here, if we're ever going to have a real connection.

but right now.

fuck yes.

women control you, because they've convinced you that they don't want sex as badly as you do.

in reality, you can get off easier than they can.

really. YOU are the one who doesn't need it as often. YOU are the one who has the power, because you can orgasm whenever the fuck you want to.

so.

i dunno.

while i don't think its an awesome idea to continue this sex power struggle.. really.

if one were so inclined..

yeah.

I don’t have a lack of faith in love, but it’s not miraculous, you have to have respect for people before you can love them.

Just look around, a lot of men don’t have respect for themselves, let alone control the respect of others. How are they supposed to find a partner?

It’s not a how-to, it’s a wakeup call.

Men are brought up to be sluts. We don’t have to be.

And if suggesting to men that women don’t have to be the centre of our lives makes me bitter, you must be right.

1. Any girl that pounces on you after you stop paying attention to her is INSECURE. That's it. But lucky for the retards, there are a LOT of insecure girls.

2. OP, why don't YOU grow some balls? I'm sure you're working on it. You were probably one of those guys you just ranted about, and now you've grown up. Congratulations. Don't be a dick about it though.

To basing your own value as a human being on how successful you are with women!

How many miserable men have you seen posting on Totse with regards to women?

-Not because of heartbreak, but because of their lonliness or unsuccessfulness.

I love ya, Muse. But I think it'd take a few miles in a young man's shoes to really get your head around this one.

All I'm saying is be happy, don't let someone else bring you down. Have the power within yourself.

If you've got yourself sorted out, then you can sort out others.

No dude, women are idiots. I won't say I don't enjoy attention sometimes too, but if some guy is paying attention to me then suddenly stops, I'm not going to cry about it and turn all "omg why doesn't he want meeeeeeeee?" because that's fucking retarded. The only reason he'd stop is because he'd realize that I'm not going to fuck him, and if that's the case I don't want anything to do with him anyway.

What's the difference between the cold shoulder guy I described and the mysterious bloke you're introduced to at a party?

A lot of women love 'mysterious' guys, and I'd be willing to say it's because they don't put all of their cards on the table.

They play 'hard to get'. It's sexy, damnit!

Anyway kids, I'm off to bed. I didn't mean to offend anyone, swear!

I kinda disagree, I'm usually how you talk in your post, don't go out of my way to do anything stupid, hang with friends, pretty much do what I want, but to meet new people, girls or guys you have to make some kind of effort. Like saying hi or asking if they have email or somethin, you can't just sit back and refuse to even so much as look at females and expect to meet any.

I don't know about you but I feel quite a bit more comfortable approaching someone who I can at least make eye contact with and exchange a smile.

Nice post OP!

Now here's a question for you:

Do all of these 'principles' still apply when you are already dating a woman?

Do we still ignore them, be selfish, etc? - which is going against the concept of a 'romantic relationship'

Some people are taking what I said out of context. This is the problem.

In regards to avalability; I meant "do not be afraid to be unavalible."

For a romantic example, spend more time with your friends for a week, then take her on a wirlwind candlelit dinner.

Do you think your partner would be more or less excited about it than if you'd been obeying her beck and call?

The post wasn't about finding women, it was about finding yourself by realising you can be happy single (so when you return to the dating scene, you've more confidence [just the same as imagining an audience with their pants down to ease fear]), although, if you asked me one things I knew for sure about human nature it's;

"The grass is always greener on the other side."

quote:Originally posted by StillArmedStillAngry:

I don't see why you can't even look at the girls.

It wasn't really meant to be a pick up guide. It was just to demonstrate men shouldn't feel sexually insuperior to women.

Although, come to think of it; if you can talk to a sexy woman as a person rather than a sexual object, you'll get along better, yes?

Like I said, it's not a literal guide for picking up women.

-But, how often have you heard women talking about that 'mysterious' man?

Do you think he calls any potential partner his boogie woogie princess and showers her with gifts, does he run to her at all hours of the day or night?

Yes, I suppose it does.

Though I would argue not to the same extent! Although that could merely be that my male base of friends is so much larger than the female.

It's not about picking up women.

It's about learning to validify your own self worth independant of your relationships with women.

Having that confidence in yourself and not being emotionally clingy are generally considered attractive traits, right?

Confidence, yes. But ultimately being emotionall clingy is what happens.

You are hardly worth anything if you must prove it by wronging others. So I dont see how it validifies any self worth, as opposed to validifying its nonexistence...
