Depends on the girl. For me I go for personality. Always did. Looks are pretty much at the bottom. It doesn't hurt to look good, don't get me wrong. I just wanted a guy that treated me like a human being and not just a piece of ass that he could toss off to the side once he's finished. I had boyfriends like that and they were good looking. Seem's they're the one's you have to look out for. Again personality is at the top for me.

Looks are important to a certain point. they arent everything but they will get you places.

I have strange concepts of beauty though, so go figure.

I'm pretty much 90% about physical beauty. I am just held captive by it, can't help it.

I really can't tell how important they are to me. I have only been compatible personality-wise with 2 girls in my life, and I found them both pretty good looking when I first met them.

Amen. I dont need anything special in her personality. As long as she doesnt have any critical flaws, like being dumb as a brick/unfaithful/self-centered.

I'd say looks and personality are equally important. You can't be physically attracted to someone unless they're good looking, and you can't have a relationship with someone if you don't get along.

I find them pretty important, however it always depends. I think my current girlfriend is so damn beautiful, it leaves me speechless. But, I find that as a bonus, because what I love about her is her wicked personality!

i see i'm not the only one infatuated with my gf. =p

anyway. basically the same as above. my girlfriends beautiful, but i know a couple other girls prettier than her that would date me, but her personality is amazing and matches mine wonderfully, and makes her seem even prettier.

Very, however, other things are also very important, such as intelligence.

They're just a bonus.

It's the person, not how they appear; in most cases. If I decide that a girl looks good, there's no way for her to look anything but good. Freshly rolled out of bed or after a week of being sick, it really doesn't matter.

I can recognize beauty in a million forms, but it's truly in the eye of the beholder.

this may sound like what your mom may have lectured you about but personality makes you beautiful. If they are beautiful in the inside, they are beautiful on the outside. and vice versa.

Quite important. I can't be involved with someone that I'm not physically attracted to. However, I screen test every woman and look for certain key aspects of their personality. Some things I look for, other things switch me off to them.

looks aren't what attract me to guys. a guy can be devestatingly handsome, but if he's not interesting then i would never date him.

if a guy is average looking, even below average looking, i'd still date him before previously mentioned good looking guy if he has a great personality.

one thing i do care about to some extent is height. i wouldn't date a guy that was more than a couple of inches shorter than me. i'm only 5'5" though, so i haven't had a problem with that. i hate the fact that i care about that, because it's something no one can change, but it think it would just feel a bit weird. then again, i haven't been in this situation and it may be different to what i expect.

I won't date someone I don't find physically attractive. However, personality is about a million times more important, and I don't care how goddamn hot a guy is, he could be a crazy Jude Law/Brad Pitt/Johnny Depp hybrid of some sort, if he's an asshole, I won't look at him twice.

What guys find attractive isn't nearly what females find attractive. Where most males find physical beauty most important, females are more concerned with a personality. True story.

I have a tendancy to end up dating the nice ugly guys. But they grow on you I guess.

I've only really gotten with one guy that I thought was off he wall gorgeous. But that was just for a fun fling.

It's important to remember, though, that physical/sexual attraction goes far beyond the simple Painted Jezebel Paradigm. For instance, there's some girl I work with who I'd bang in a heartbeat, precisely because she's kinda goofy/nerdy. But whatever you're into, you ARE into it, and there's no point in apologizing.

I have met plenty of ugly girls with nice personalities. They aren't beautiful. What you said is bullshit, looks count in beauty.
