Default Just went on a date

Alright so I went on a date tonight. Just curious how ya'll would interpret these few things. . .

I took her to play some pool, which she sucked at, I was really nice and gave her lots of tips; which she seemed to appreciate.

So I take her to where I work (movie theatre, I am a projectionist), and took her on the roof and talked some. She seemed stand-offish at the idea of getting close. But she was very enthusiastic about how she has had the greatest time this night then she has in a "LONG time."

So while at the theatre, I steal an 8 foot tall Silent Hill poster/banner for her (had to show her the bad-boy part), since she really likes Silent Hill. She was giggly about this, and very obviously liked it.

I take her to get a Blizzard at Dairy Queen (this is an ice cream thing for those of you that dont know), we talk and talk and talk. Then I take her home and its all going good. I ask her if she wants my house number (since all she has is my cell), and she says "yeah definitely!" so I go inside and she gets it from me. Then she walks me outside and she gives me a hug and I say "no after-date kiss?" and she says "Ummmmmmmmmmmmm" (as if she's considering it), then "I don't know you that well"..

So, I have been on a lot of dates and usually they end with a small kiss. So, have any of ya'll had this happen? I am thinking it's a bad sign; even though she was enthused about it being the best night she had in a long time, blah blah blah. Not sure about that kiss part though.

Anyway, input, please.

Not a bad sign at all. A kiss should still mean something in society and she seems to be saving one up for you for a special time - i.e. when you get to know her better.

it sounded like a pretty decent date to me.

i wouldn't worry about the kiss.

you got a hug. thats something...

but i mean.

hey. it sounded pretty ok to me.

if i were a girl, i would have loved it.

or if you were a girl.

next time do a tyler durden, and slice some porno into the movie with her.

that would make you look totally awesome.

more badass than the poster thing..

Thanks for the input, ya'll.

About the Tyler Durden thing. . . What's ironically funny is that I do have in my possesion about two minutes worth of 35mm Porno from the 1970s, some of which is just frames of cock. I could actually splice single frames into a family film (like Barnyard for example). I wonder if this would actually impress (it probably would, its totally 'bad boy' quality).

hell yes it would.

and if it didn't, you should find a girl who it WOULD impress.

that'd be awesome.

She seems a bit shy, dude, but she obviously really appreciates you. She'll kiss you when she's ready

And mate, it sounds like you're onto something great here. Keep steady, keep true!

I think the Tyler Durden thing would creep her out.

Yep, that's it. However, if still no kiss after three dates, then you should maybe move on.

Definitely mate.

Next time you take her out, I'm sure she'll give you a kiss.

If she doesn't give you even a small kiss after the second (possibly third) date, I'd say move on mate.

I've dated girls who wouldn't even kiss me after I'd spent my valuable time and cold hard cash on them!

it was good until you said "what, no good night kiss?" i hate it when guys ask that question. either orchestrate the damn kiss correctly or don't, but don't put the decision in my hands! if you can't get it to flow where you're in a position where you can kiss her, she probably doesn't want to be kissed.

other than that it sounded good, but it's impossible to tell without hearing her tone of voice and seeing her body language.
