Well, logcally yes, that's what they're for. Though they CAN fail so discuss abortion first just in case. Then again, you should do that with any kind of contraception, they can all fail. I wouldn't worry about it if I can trust her to take the pills properly

I never got pregnant while taking the pill, but I've known other women who have. I suspect they took it wrong, however, so they might not be the best sources of info on the subject.

How old are you? If pregnancy is that much of a concern...Maybe you shouldn't have sex?
