Being funny, looking good, having money, knowing people, lying, having confidence, being mysterious, being upfront...All these methods and such. There has to be something behind it all as it just doesn't work.

I'm too picky, too shy, not good looking. My combination of these make me a failure. Someone kill me.

Unfortunately as good as feeling sorry for yourself feels, it's only going to decrease your chances further.

But yeah, maybe take your mind off it for a while until you're ready to give it 100% again.

Just keep experimenting with different methods and whatnot.

Contrary to popular belief, "being yourself" isn't gonna get you very far.

I'm in a similar boat, so all I can do is wish you luck.

It'll get better.

Who knows... maybe you'll get lucky and someone will fall into your lap unexpectedly.

Yeah I've actually noticed that with practice, it just becomes more natural.

I've started initiating conversations with random females all the time, and it has at the very least boosted my confidence and helped me feel more at ease around them.

A) I stop feeling sorry for myself, that self loathing is a turnoff. Like dogs can smell fear, women can smell lacking confidence.

B) If you get frustrated with women, just try to forget it for a while. Don't even try, just hang out with your mates, drink some beers, play some games.

C) When you're confident and rested, get yourself out there as much as possible. The more women you meet, the higher the chance you'll meet one that you hit it off with.

5. I pointed out I do and it doesn't work.
