I work at the movie theatre and we catch people having sex all the time, because they do at the wrong times. Go to a movie that no on else would want to see on a weekday, but go while the theatre is having a public screening for a new movie that's coming out that weekend. All the ushers will be way too busy to find you.

Or go to a Cinemark theatre on a weekday, because a friend of mine works there and said that usually on a weekday there's one person selling tickets and concessions while a manager is starting the movies, and neither of them can leave to check the theatres for people having sex.

If you do get caught, I don't know if this is all theatres or just ours, but they won't even get you in trouble. Usually the projectionists just shine a flashlight on people so they'll stop. The only time I know there was trouble was when two minors were having sex in the theatre, we had to call their parents to come get them. And sometimes if we're bored, we mess with people (projectionists talk to them from the booth to freak them out, we send the policeman in there because they think they'll get in trouble then). One time one of the managers went and stood in the aisle by them and they didn't notice, so he sat down a few seats from them and waited until they finally noticed and screamed.

Also if you do plan on having sex in the theatre, just be nice and clean up after yourself. I can't count how many used condoms I've found while cleaning theatres.

You won't get in trouble, just kicked out. And be considerate to others around you. Don't just start fucking in the seats right behind me and my friends, not even near the back, or one of us will cover you in Coke. . And I would imagine a lot of other people would too, so don't do that.
