You're going to get such varied responses. I've gone out with some girls that insist I chop my hair, others who loved to play with it.

I have shoulder length, possibly a little longer length hair, and I've never had any real negative comments about it.

Whatever you do with it, someone won't like it.

But that goes for pretty much everything.

I grew my hair to ass-length and the ladies hated it, but when I cut it (to a little bit above my shoulder) I noticed that all the girls seemed to love it. So my advice, don't grow it too long, but don't have it too short...medium length seems to work well.

I like how that advice works for EVERYTHING.

Quite a few of my chick mates have told me I looked better with short hair. At the moment my hair is about shoulder length.

I really couldn't give a crap what anyone else thinks about my hair. I keep it short just so I don't have to do anything to it in the morning.

But next year I'll be backpacking round the world, and I doubt I'll be able to afford haircuts, so I'll just let it grow.

I had long, very bushy hair. After my hair gets about chin length, it stops getting longer, and it just expands outward, and I need a hat to keep it under control. My hair is down to my ass - it is 2 1/2 feet long, very straight, and well taken care of. Just as one of the previous posters said, you are going to get varied responses about this. Some girls will tell you over and over that long hair on guys is stupid, while others will literally obsess over it.

I can note here that the types of girls who have given the bad response (the ones who like crew-cuts) are usually the stuck up bitches who would play dead during sex. While the girls who thought my hair was hot shit are the types of girls who are absolute freaks in bed. The hair is an advantage.

Oh! And just to let you know. Its crazy walking around everywhere - the longer your hair gets, the more these girls stare. Just the other day I was at the theatre (I'm a projectionist), and this girl was staring at me. So I walked up to her and started talking. Only about 40 seconds into the conversation she says "you have really sexy hair, by the way." Believe me, this is a frequent thing.

I say grow it out. But be for fucking damned sure you take care of it. Most guys with long hair don't take care of their shit - this shit requires care to look good, man!

im with blacklung on this one. my hair reaches halfway down my back and is taken care of well. whenever i am out at a bar, women allways comment on it / want to plait it ect.

I shaved all my hair off for maintenance, now all the girls at work call me 'skinhead'.

You get girls who like both. My rather long hair has its fans and its detractors, but I <3 my hair so I'm keeping it.

I have semi-long hair and am very confident about it, and my girlfriend loves it. at the very least I've never gotten complaints from girls I've dated.

I wore a black beanie for a solid 6 months or so while my hair was like that. It just poked out at the edges a little, looked great.
