So I've been friends with a girl for a short while, and we get on really well.

Then the other night she comes out with:

"Actually I have the hots for you and I want to fuck you."

After the initial OMGWTFBBQ and establishing that she wasn't joking, I was initially quite pleased because it's not often girls ask ME for sex.

But I had to make clear to her that I don't want a girlfriend right now, and whilst I do want to be friends with her, I can't commit to her.

This is partically because of my last relationship, which went totally fucked up, and I don't want to go through again.

There's also another girl that I like, who I actually might consider having a relationship with, but I have no idea whether she likes me at all or not.

So Totse, is it acceptable to screw my friend until I find someone I want to be with?

If she understands how you feel and that you can't commit and she's ok with just a fuck-buddy type situation then that's fine go ahead if you want to. Understand though, that having sex with her will change your friendship with her. You won't know exactly how it will change until it happens, but it will change in some way of that I am sure.
