Default Question!

Ok, there's 2.

1. Sex hurts. A lot. To the point where I can only stand it for about 5-10 minutes before there's no longer any pleasure whatsoever and it just hurts. No, it's not lack of lubrication, and it just recently started. I feel kinda bad about it too, like I'm... broken or something. And my boyfriend is all nice about it, but it's pissing me off so it must be pissing him off too. Help?

2. Can birth control pills cause chest pain? Because I've been have some pretty bad chest pains lately, they're slowly getting worse, and I'm just wondering if it's a possible symptom or if there's really something wrong with me. Thankee!

Hurts where and how? Deep inside? Or general soreness ? Achy crampings? Any bleeding?

Theres no advice anyone on here can give you, except for the following.

Go see your gynocologist. Talk to her about both.

That is of course the right advice and normally i would have just closed the thread with a 'go see a doc' comment.

BUT

Demoiselle is a forum regular who knows the rules etc etc . Also i can't imagine she has any issues about seeing a gyno and so i assume that she has a reason for asking here.

General soreness, I guess. No bleeding. Occasionally there's almost like a burning feeling, but I think that might just be friction... I don't have any std's, neither does he, nor are there any infections of any sort anywhere. That's been looked into.

Edit: The only issue I have with going to see a doctor is that everytime I go see one about anything, I'm told that there's nothing wrong with me, or I'm given unnecessary medication that makes me worse, etc. Gyno told me nothing was physically wrong with me. Chest x-rays said there was nothing wrong with me. I'm no hypochondriac though, which is why I'm still concerned.

Heh, it's definitely not lichen sclerosis. And the chest pain isn't anxiety, as it happens randomly for no apparent reason.

And yes, he is quite large, but I thought I would have... adapted I guess, by now. Yesterday was our first time having sex in about 2 weeks though, so I understand that it would be a little tighter initially, but it kept getting more painful... bah. Maybe I'll give up on sex altogether and buy the b/f a blow up doll...

If you're using condoms then maybe it's an allergic reaction to them? Or maybe you're just allergic to his penis :P

oops i see you're on the pill.my bad!

However , has he changed his soap brand recently?

Don't laugh, i've actually known this to cause problems.

Any chance you've got a hernia? If it's pressing against something down there it might be what's causing the pain.

As for the chest pains.. that's possibly something to be talked about with a general doctor rather than a gyneacologist.

I hate it when doctors dismiss people with that

"it's just your age" crap.

I mean, are they paid to pass judgements on people within 5 minutes and then chuck them out to get the next patient in?

Well yeah they are, but they shouldnt be, which fucks me off. Especially as those fucks are earning around9 times more than any decent respectable person who actually does their job.

Well, is it just chest pain or back pain too?

Is it in the chestiall cavity or in the ribs & external musclaturezors?

I know that when I've not been active enough that gas pressure inside expands my ribs just enough to give terrible back pain. Pain enough to make me feel I'm dying for a day or two?

Now with excercise I can stop that pain in an hour. Excercise gets the gas out/relieves muscle cramps.

Jack: I know nothing of his soap. But I'll do some snooping next time I'm over there. I do tend to have an intolerance for perfumey soaps and lotions.

Yoyo: I definitely don't have a hernia. And yes, doctors are fucking idiots. I've only ever gotten proper attention from an intern at the hospital. He actually asked questions and did tests, so I still have hope...

Slappin: Never has. And I haven't been doing so lately since I see my b/f on a very regular basis. It does hurt a bit when he does it though, but it's that good hurt. I enjoy fingering more than sex...

Moonie: I get both, but the back pain is from old riding injuries. The chest pain flared up a few months ago. Unrelated, I believe.

Are the chest pains like your heart is aching or is it your boobies? Because I'm pretty sure the pill can cause breast tenderness.

I get sore from intercourse a lot, but I think it's related to my husband's size. But yes, pretty much every time we have sex, I bleed or just feel achy/raw down there.

As for the chest pains, I would say either gas, heartburn or anxiety.

I used to be on medication for something or other that made my chest hurt a lot. It was like it was hard to breathe or something. It was one of the following (these are medications I'm allergic to):

Sulfa

Ammoxacillin

Levaquin

Macrodantin

Nitrofurantoin

(Sp? on all of those)

So you might want to check if the birth control you're using has anything in common with any of those. (I'm pretty sure it was the Levaquin that made me have the chest pains).

Edit: Added Nitrofurantoin
