Babies: Man Repelant
I get the whole 'avoid a mum because she's probably got someone at home and you'd be wasting your time anyway' thing.... I get it, but I don't like it.
I hate walking around with my son and smiling at cute guys and seeing that "wtf are you looking at!?" expression on their faces, where normally I would get a nice smile in return.
Its such bullshit... just because I'm a mum doesn't mean I don't want a big fat juicy dick to suck and fuck!
Next time you see a young mum, give her the benefit of the doubt. Ask for that number, you whimpy shits.

Re: Babies: Man Repelant
I totally 100% know what you mean.
I'm twenty one and I just became legal gaurdian of my three nephews: 8 and twin 4 year olds. And it's really really hard.
I mean, a bloke is hitting on you and you have to tell them you have kids and
"I'll have to get a babysitter." or "I have to be back before 11:30 because that's when the babysitter has to go home." or "I'm sorry, I'm swimming in a dirty diaper/Cheerio ocean right now, call you back later."
It's just never pleasant. I might as well sew up my pussy until I'm too old to want to have sex.
Cheers,
Lost

My older sister died and the father is currently out of the picture, as he's living in Japan... But, I get life insurance and child support payments, which is nice.

Sorry, but the truth is that most single mothers are looking for a man to provide for and be a father figure to their kids. Also, these days the courts are so fucked up that guys can end up paying child support to single mothers they dated.
You're going to see that most men will avoid you now. Whatever you do please, PLEASE don't start resenting your kid for it. It was your decision to bring it into the world, and you should take full responsibility for it. IT'S NOT YOUR KID'S FAULT!

It's just that, young hot moms with kids, usually means husbands. And I dont like to get stabbed.
But if it came down to it I'd marry a woman with kids from a previous marraige and love them like they were my own, but I'd definitely push for a few kids of my own too.

I don't think she was bitching about her kid, I think she was bitching about the lack of ass in her life.
You're totally right about the whole stereotype. But, it is a stereotype. Not all single mothers/single aunties are like that. Some of us still have hot blood running through our vienes and just want to get laid and go out with a hot guy who enjoys our company and whose company we enjoy.
However, Sarc, lets be honest here: it's hard enough to find a hot guy who like you and who you like without a kid, let alone with a kid, let alone with three kids.
We might as well not fight it and just become bitter mean old hags right now.
Fuck lovers.

Thing is, my boy, (and I would never resent him, he's the coolest little dude ever, and if he were the only man in my life for the next few years that would be alright), he already has a dad who provides for him.
I, honestly, just want a piece.

"Wants a piece", do she?
How terribly ironic.
Who hasn't heard of tired young mothers who actually have full time men, who've basically stopped putting out?

That's good, it's just that I see so many single moms who resent their kids, because now they can't "have as much fun". It really pisses me off that they blame their kids for it, when it was the mother's decision to bring them into the world.

...& the way Evil Stepmothers often treat their new husbands kids is no picnic either.
As an occaisional listener to Author/Talk Host "Dr. Laura 'Two Shoes' Schlessinger", we are both amazed, nay stunned, by the Callous Attitude these women have.
They wonder why their husband wants to spend time with his kids or even that he wants to see them... . After all he has New Kids now.

Sarc, not all men are that way.. haven't you seen that movie "The Stepfather"? He wanted a ready-made family. Errr wait, then he tried to kill them all, maybe a bad example.
Personally it doesn't bother me. If they are screaming out-of-control brats that would be a deal breaker but otherwise kids are fun.

It happened to my eldest sister, she complained about the very same thing.
She actually found a nice cute bloke to settle down with, who loved her daughter and her equally, seeing as the father is out of the picture-who knows where he is now.
I am so happy for her, her new husband treats her daughter like she was the most precious gem in the world, and loves my sister unconditionally.
Moral of the story: it can happen.

Re: Babies: Man Repelant
Sarc, i think thats rather stupid. i went out with a girl when i was 16, she was 15, and she has a 1 1/2 year old kid. yes, you read that right- she was 15 with a 1 1/2 y/o kid.
we went out for a while, but she broke it off with me. i was always supportive of her kid, i mean, people fuck up, or shit happens, and i didnt know the situation she was in when the child was conceived, so who the fuck am i to judge?
i suppose my point of view is a rare one, but if i saw you with your little rug rat running around, as a way to warm up to you, i'd use the "topic of him" as a conversation starter.
i've never seen a girl smile more then when she talks about her child.

Re: Babies: Man Repelant
I totally understand how having a child would turn a guy off.
My ( now husband of 15 years) had a child when I started dating him , and I tell you it's not much fun when you want to have a fun , sexy , romantic night , but you have to wait till the childs settled , or that child gets jealous of the new person taking up the parents time. It's hard work , so you have to really love the person to make it work out.

A single woman with kids can be repelant, but it can also be a good thing. If the woman has children, it's less likely she's gonna fuck around on you. Warming up to the kids can also be a great way to help win her over.
And frankly, it also depends on the woman in question. I've had a few I'd been so into that I actually found myself saying that I wouldn't care if she had a child with some other dude, as long as I was the guy she was commited to currently. I havn't actually dated any women with kids though, so this could all just be theory.

I think you should keep your kids away from your dating life unless a permanent relationship is developing. Kids get attached...then people go away....that's not good...IMO

Bingo. I will NEVER date a woman with a kid. There's no way I'm busting my ass to support another man's rejected offspring. Especially now that the courts are forcing men to pay child support to single mothers they dated! Unfuckingbelievable.
Nothing personal Sarcophagus, but there are plenty of women out there who don't have kids.

I can't find the article now, but the court ruled that the man must pay child support since he was a "father figure" to the kids. Courts are virulently anti-male.

i heard of the same article...
something like they had been in a relationship and thought the kid was his, but dna said otherwise, but because he HAD been paying after they split up the courts said he MUST continue to pay, even tho its not HIS KID
damn woman must have known.... shame on her if she fucked around enough to not know who the father was (incidentally, i have no problem with women who enjoy sex and their sexuality and who are responsible and NOT get preggers.)

that and had a sudden hallucination that my mum was saying that.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go and gouge my eyes out with a cherry red drawing crayon.

Re: Babies: Man Repelant
I'd never flame you for your choices in keeping the child.
If I remember correctly, you were vehemently against Abortion, which is totaly your choice,
and you deserve nothing but congratulations for brining a kid into the world and loving it so much,
(as is sickeningly evident when you talk about your kid by the way ).
Thing is,you're young, and there's no way you look like some married weighted down middlaged housewife with 6 kids an a obese husband at home,
you're a young tough mum with a damn cool kid,
not a Lupus ridden monster.

^yeah, and if she flirts with you it's assumed she is a cheating whore.
So first of all you gotta meet an intelligent, attractive young man, (and the odds of that are 20 to 1) then you have to squeeze him past the fact that you have a kid so that you can actually talk to him long enough for him to find out you're single, or else you just tell him right away that you're available and have a child, which makes you look like the stereotypical daddy-hunter...

You could allways strap the kid to your back and go to a Rave.
It's amazing when people dress up proper Rave style, and extra credit for living props.
No doubt about it you'd get oodles of the most gorgeous candy kids wanting to befriend you.

even back in my most hedonistic teenage years i could never understand some blokes hesitation to date a single mum.
what the fuck difference does it make that she has a kid? especially if she makes it clear she isn't looking for a 'new daddy' for it.
if she has a kid then the chances are she'll be more responsible (even at a young age) and more inclined to work at a relationship.
she'll value the time you and she have to togther much more (finding her a decent babysitter is the best present going!).
sounds to me like you need to find a real man

in a word? YES!
if you love her then you have to be man enough to love her kid. (if its necessary cos in this case Sarc was making clear she doesn't need an ersatz dad)

Re: Babies: Man Repelant
Tip for Sarc
this is the kinda man you should look for.i'll do it dialogue-wise.
scene: Party/bar/disco whatever and you've reached the 'drop the bomb' stage
you:" ..uhm..actually i have a child"
him (angry):" SO WTF ARE YOU DOING HERE! tell me you haven't left it at home alone?!"
you: "lighten up! my mother/best friend/babysitter is there."
him: "ok,sorry. "
you: "i would never leave me child on its own but i also sometimes want a man/some love/some cock,ok?"
that last bits important cos it will belay any subconcious fears he has about you looking for 'child support'.
so look for a bloke whose first concern isn't sweet talking his way into your knickers but for a kid he doesn't even know. chances are he'll be half way decent man.

Or I can find another woman who's not tied down with kids. If you're in a relationship with a woman who has kids, you're going to have to spend time with her kids, and I'm not interested in that.

Kids would prob be hurt if they keep meeting Adults, who are short term.

Single mums don't have a lot going for them.
I used to have no problem with dating chicks with kids. From my experience, guys that wont have anything to do with chicks with kids have the right idea.
The kids of chicks Ive dated have been a royal pain in the ass. Ive always tried to get along with them in the interest of maintaining a stable relationship but the kids always have other ideas. Examples of why I dont date chicks with kids:
- a chick and I were watching a movie in my living room with her 7 (I think) year old. The 7-yr-old got up to get a drink and I hear a hissing sound coming from my kitchen. Thinking it odd, I investigate to find the little bastard has a can of spraypaint and thinks she is a budding grafitti artist.
- I was getting jiggy with a chick in her room with her kid asleep in his own room. We were slighly preoccupied so when her 4-year old comes climbing into the bed when Im mid-thrust, it tends to be a mood breaker.
- too many restrictions; kids get in the way of going out, they have to be dragged along everywhere, when they are around there is no spontaneous nookie, they have very short attention spans...shall I go on?
- I wont let chicks bring their little kids to my house. I have too much expensive shit sitting around that is too easy to destroy. A few years ago one little bastard stuck something into my DVD player that I had just paid $2K for and only watched one movie on. (when DVD players first came out they werent cheap) The same little bastard put his shoes into my saltwater aquarium, trying to catch my fish. The same little bastard also poured a two-pound canister of fish food into the same aquarium.
And dont say you arent interested in a guy being your kids future daddy. Every chick with kids that I dated long enough eventually made that an issue. When I have kids, they are going to be MY kids. Im not raising some other guys delinquents. Im not paying for their clothes, toys, or any damed thing else. That is what child support is for.
Im not saying that all kids are little bastards...a chick Im kinda seeing now has two teenage-ish kids who are for the most part well behaved, intelligent, and relatively mature. And I get along with them well unless their mother and I are in disagreement. I dont mind dragging them along when we go out but I want SOME time alone without them.
Chicks with kids are too much work and it isnt worth it. Not when a chick without kids and strings is available.

Sarc, I remember when you were pregnant, and you were happily awaiting the birth of your child, and you seemed to be in a pretty stable relationship. It was a long time ago, but I thought you two were married, or going to be married. What happened ? Sorry if you've already explained this, or prefer not to talk about it.
Now my question: Are you saying that if I'm talking to a milf, and we seem to get along well, I should try to hook up with her ? You're my hero. A license to milf-hunt from Sarcophagus, the beloved mother/milf figure of totse. This thread reminds me of last Saturday. I was at the barber shop, getting my hair cut(no shit, huh ?), and the lady seemed to be hitting on me. She had already finished cutting my hair, but she kept running her fingers through my hair and massaging my scalp whilst talking about how cool the 70's were because of all the weed, etc. I tthink it was my KISS shirt that turned her on. When it was time to go, she says "look at me." and checked to see if my sideburns were equal, and says "you know, you're a very handsome young man." I thought to myself, is this 40 something yearold saying this for nothing, or should I party with her ? I dunno. I'm going back to that place though. By the way, she was hot.

Re: Babies: Man Repelant
I don't mind a girl that has kids. I have a neice and a nephew and I enjoy spending time with both of them. I look at them as my own kids sometimes. I like to take care of kids so I sure as hell wouldn't mind dating a girl who has kids.
If I didn't have a girlfriend I'd hit it.

Re: Babies: Man Repelant
Sarcophagus, first of all how old are you?
My family is a good example that you CAN find a man who will at least not mind the kid(s).
All of the men in my family have none of thier own kids. Each take care their WIVE'S kids though. Yeah, I guess they got Owned.
Anyways, just think of how it will affect your child when you start dating. Being dragged/sleeping from place to place will start to fuck with his head. I'm not saying that you'll do this and I don't blame you for wanting a man in your life but alot of times moms unknowingly put their kid second when a man comes along. I remember being 7 and I'd be sitting alone watching WWF while my mom was fucking some strange man in the other room. No wonder I'm so fucked up.

Why are they busting their asses to support another man's rejected offspring? Becoming a worker bee whose sole purpose in life is to bring home a large paycheck for some bitch and her kids (that aren't even yours) is the epitome of "Owned".
