Well my girlfriends dad isnt let her seeing me "just cause" and last night i found out why. He said "You cant see him, just break up with him" and yeah. She likes me a LOT and i dunno what to do. She lives like a half hour away and i hardly get to see her. Her dad is a fatass loser that doesnt want me to have what he never could get i guess. Any ideas?

P.S. Im gonna see her today maybe but her dad wont know. Just thought id tell that.

its alright to be protective, but this is overprotective. Its not right. He cant say that after we have been dating for about 5 months

my girlfriend's dad hates me, just the same as every other girl's dad takes thier boyfriend. its just the way it is. I mean, it makes sense...

you know how rotten and crappy guys can be (you are one...you've got a pretty good idea), and you know that this new guy is gonna be FUCKING your sweet little girl whos just grown up so fast, blah blah blah, you get the idea.

this guy sounds like a prick, but what you have to do is tell your girl to stand up for herself. tell her to tell him that its her choice, not his. I had to do this to a small degree with my girlfriend. her dad was only a little bit wankery, and just didnt want us to sleep in the same bed, which is understandable, but we'd been together for over a year, and you know.

lol man im having the same problem, my girlfriend couldnt see me yesterday becouse of her dad, and she sat home all day, but i saw he today and saw a movie and she had a good time, i dont know if it happends again with me im gonna tell her if you care about this then choice me or your dad, but she hates her dad lol so i have a slight advantage with her.

ok this is what you do, you go up to her door and ring the doorbell, be sure to have a very solid metal pipe with you. now when her dad answers the door, say "hello, can i please see (enter name here)" and when he's starting to close the door on you, quickly put the pipe betwen the door frame and the door so when he slames it, it hits the pipe. if your lucky he'll have a big wooden door and might damage it a little. at that point be like "again, can i please see your daughter"

Yeah I'm not sure they hate me but my girlfriends parents really don't like me I think. I do ask for it though because I dress like some kid out of a gutter. They are also against piercings and I got two flesh tunnels which they apparently find disconcerting.

An example of what her family thinks of piercings. This happened the other day when she was telling her sis (just come back from uni) about me:

Sis: He has THOSE in his ears?! Can't you tell him to take them out?!

Girlfriend: NO!

Sis: But hasn't it put you off him!?

Look and demeanor have a lot to do with it I think. If I'm going to be meeting a girl's parents, I always wear a sweater, khakis, etc. and act so polite they wonder if I'm secretly British.
