Default As my first offical post in S and A

I shall begin with a complaint. Why is it that men have no f***ing clue what they want? I am/was going out with this guy. Honestly I wanted to start the whole thing of on a strictly friendship basis, perhaps even with a couple of perks. Well he got himself into relationship mode and now is acting all weird just because I am who I am. Maybe it was when I told him that I push people away, or perhaps the confession that I don't imagine I will ever get married. I am just too open about things I consider important. haha.. the whole point of the story without making this too horridly long, Why do (modify: some) guys make simple things complex?!?

Eheh...I have similar issues, actually. I accidentally 'broke my next-door neighbor's heart', because I told him that I push people away, never want to get married, and that I'm bisexual. A lot of guys get really touchy and go the 'was your dad emotionally absent? There may be a reason why you're bisexual' route. Pisses me off. He was really emotional and christian and eventually I told him I didn't want to be in a relationship with him, because he'd lecture me so much about my 'issues'.

Shit. I ranted. What I was trying to say, Alice, is that I've had the same crap happen. What the hell is wrong with them? If I want to wear cat ears and throw jelly beans at old people, and openly speak of my hate of Bush, marriage, and most organized religion, then I should damned fucking be able to!

..I need coffee. Sorry about that.

Guys are weird.

The ones you love fuck off to a different City never to be seen again and the ones you tolerate only because they've got all three of your mobile phone numbers and every singly screen name and Email address you've ever had for the simple fact they wont leave you alone..

Interesting though, the ones not worth bothering with are pretty easy to determine, because they run like scared little girls if you have an oppinion on anything that's even a little abnormal.

like sex, or marriage,porn,whatever.

If you tell a guy you like the way he pins you down by the throat whilst he fucks you,he'll ask

'did your father abuse you as a child?'.

If you have a bandage on your arm, guaranteed he'll ask

'Have you been self harming? Are you with me because you're insecure?'

ect...

I’m a guy, I don’t make things seem complex (I don’t think I do at least). I prefer people to think of me as a stupid, simple-minded male personally, although my girlfriend knows better.

I think the reason most make simple things seem complex is they are blind to the fact that sometimes the right answer is the simple one. (translation, there ego says its not that easy)

EDIT:

quote:If you tell a guy you like the way he pins you down by the throat whilst he fucks you,he'll ask

'did your father abuse you as a child?'.

If you have a bandage on your arm, guaranteed he'll ask

'Have you been self harming? Are you with me because you're insecure?'

Personaly I think people who say crap like that needs to be back handed. There thinking too hard.

one at a time:

so, you date a christian, make fun of religion, openly bash bush who he prolly supports? and were supposed to feel sorry for who? sounds to me like your a first rate bitch.

to the original poster: from an outside observer it would seem to me that this guy was something to toy with in between you finding someone who got you wet. so, lets be real here and admit you were playing with the guy.

he got himself into relationship mode cause he liked you. im guessing youre both young, and he doesnt know any better. hes emotionally pure and not educated to the darker side of human relationships. no harm no foul. perhaps if you could get your head out of your ass, youd understand him a bit better.

and yoyo: you really had me fooled. i thought the misery you suffered had taught you something. i respect ppl whove suffered, whove got a good taste of pain. thats why i dont respect mostwomen. you bemoan to great detail being ugly, talk about the misery of having food issues, and then say something like that.

i really felt for you honey. i really did. i was chubby and miserable when i was much younger. i know how much of a freak you feel like. and then you kick around some guy who likes you alot. im not defending his obseeive nature. but youd think youd appreciate that given all that you supposedly felt.

but you dont. youre the same empty vapid hole of appearance and greed as other chicks. youre weight issues arent about you, its because you see how other womens asses are kissed and you want that. i misjudged you. i thought you had a clue.

i have the same problem, though im a guy. im a libertarian, doomed to a life of betrayal by chicks who use my personal choices as ammo against me, when the going gets tough. so, like you, i push people away now. not interested in going through the same shit over and over again. chicks (most) are clueless about who they are (without knowing it, what they want (while insisting they know this) and have no problem switching philosophies whenever it's to their advantage IMO.

It seems you brought this out a lot better then myself and tokolosh did. After reading your post, I realized that I too respect people that have gone through hardships and made the best of it. I know I've seen my share of shitty days but I've always tried to make the best of it. But for those who've been sheltered and loved their whole lives are almost always bitches and ass holes. Take where I live for example, the kids that actually did grow up in shittier parts of town or bad places and are now in a nicer neighborhood or living a nicer life are always the kids whom are the nicest. I can even tell just by my neighbors kid and his kid's friends. He's the leader, he's never been poor or not loved. I see him beating up all his friends and bossing them around all the time. I have respect for the kids that get pushed around and make it out alright.

But this girl is just being a bitch, just because you have your own opinions does NOT mean you should have the right to bash his. You think (most) guys need to get a clue, but it's really yourself that needs to think about this. You're bashing his main beliefs and he still treats you greatly, yet you just keep on bitching.

I went way off topic on this so I'm just going to say it. You girls want someone you can whip, you don't want a boyfriend, you want a dog and a vibrator, hell forget the vibrator just fuck the dog because that's the best you deserve for bashing people's beliefs.

Man that's hot... I've been sleeping with the wrong women.

Moving on! I've done some wierd things, I thought my ideal relationship when I was younger was a sex centered friendship, then when I got it I freaked and left after a few short weeks. Same thing when I tried perfectly normal mundane relationships with a nice girls, sometimes they just didn't click and I left.

Then I found the girl of my dreams, I was so incredibly attracted to her, everything about her captivated me then one day she says to me "you know we're just fucking for fun, right?".

You do realise that we tend to desire what we can't have, right?

Everyone is unique, and thus, I can't tell which side is true by what you post in a forum, but there's a fair chance that you'd become bored or started giving it less importance if you occasionally got the attention you crave for.

EDIT: Commas 'n' shit.

Oh how funny you are... he got me wet you think huh? It had nothing to do with sex for me you ignorant baboon. I honestly wanted to be very excellent friends with him becaue he just left a bad relationship. I wanted to take things slow because I didn't want to be the rebound person. Me toying with him? HAHAHA... I was looking out for his emotional ass. Because just a year ago I was in his position.

I wanted foremost to be his friend, I didn't want to lose someone I can discuss the fall of the earth with to a little fuck-fest. He is one of the few people with whom I can have a truly intellegent conversation. What you lonely loser asses don't realize is.. I have gone through more shit than any of you. He made things complex by trying to bring them to the next level too fast and now he wants to put them in reverse. He wasn't ready, I knew it. But I came here and said it far too simply for your dumb asses and now you act like I am the bad guy. haha.. Amusing you both are.

But you can take your personal experiences and say that is what is happening here with me. Or you can stop makeing an ass of yourself with your asumptions Take your pick motherfuckers.

A couple things here:

First, it is true that a guy either wants you or he has no clue what he wants. After all, what guy wouldn't want you?

Second, while we don't want men judging women by appearance when it does not work in her favor, if a guy is interested at first sight, it is proper to assume that he should remain interested after he gets to know you better. You can only judge a book by the cover if it is a nice cover after all.

Having said that, I understand your frustration and wish you the best of luck in finding someone who realizes how much he wants to be with you till you are done with him.

The first and last sentences are actually irrelevant to the situational example provided in the middle. The stuff in the middle is more about you and your issues. But the first and last sentences assign blame where it doesn't belong.

Single people seeking some sort of relationship are prone to accept "signals" more readily than other people. Being friendly and spending time with someone is often interpreted as "signals".

Allowing someone "perks" without a clear discussion beforehand of the implications (or lack thereof) of such perks is going to create misunderstandings.

If we want society to remain a cohesive entity, people can't go around spreading their affections freely and then, when confronted with someone's feelings, toss it off as "men have issues/women have issues".

But you're allowed to rant as much as the guys here are, Alice.

Cindy actually there have been no perks. While yes my posts have been rather.. disorganized. I have been without certain nessacary items for a while, to be exact, my thyroid meds. So pardon my lack of orgainization . I also have very little time as of late.

The problem moreover lies in the fact that I started to like him as more than a friend. And like I said, now he wants to throw it into reverse. But it's not really the same and all we have done is peck. Yes I complained rather throughly about the male just because he romanced me so well then came up with the same thing I wanted all along, friendship. He has confused me completely. That is how he makes it complex. That is how he drives me insane. That is how.. I lose my train of thought. :P

More or less, if you don't want to forgive my disorgaized state of mind, I just didn't clarify myself well enough the first post or two, maybe not even this one, but hell it's my birthday. If you don't like it, oh well
