Your problem probably stems from a desire to have a girlfriend for the simple fact of having a girlfriend. You appear young (or at least naive) so I'd suggest just living your life until you meet a girl who you would like to become your girlfriend.

After that it's all learning experiences. There's no one size fits all answer for this.

Yeah i have a girlfriend. It was easy, i just went up and talked to her, you know made her laugh complament her, then ask her for her number............Its easy to get a girl, just dont be afraid to talk to them

Don't let the "just ask her out!" advice trick you. You're gonna have to walk up to her and come up with a good, easy ice breaker, like "Wow, it is so cold today", then just go into some random conversation.

If the girl is talkative, not a bitch, and nice...all you have to do is start up a conversation and the rest works itself out.

The opposite approach seems to work better for me. I start out he same way by talking and shit then give her my number and tell her to call if she wants to talk or hang out sometime.
