rather comedic and awkward situation
So I was at this party the other day, and I made out with this girl. We were sitting on the couch and kinda cuddling up, and she was (according to her) not really that drunk. I told her I kinda liked her, and she told me that maybe I should do something about that(!). Heh, yeah. So I was kind of psyched about the whole thing, and then two days later we were talking about the party, and she said she only remembered parts of it. I was like oh damn, c'mon, so I felt forced to bring up me kissing her, and she said she didn't remember it and seemed quite shocked, making me feel very unsettled and creating quite an awkward situation. I kinda have feelings for this girl, and I was very disappointed as I thought she might be returning these feelings. But now I'm like, maybe she is fucking with me. If not, she probably thinks I'm a rapist. *shrug* Anybody got any advice?

Re: rather comedic and awkward situation
Be honest and obvious; call her and tell her "I like you and want to know if you want to go out with me."

That is funny. She regrets it, so she made up a lie. She is kinda saying "I would not have done that if I had no alcohol in my system" So just move on, man.

Re: rather comedic and awkward situation
Damn, thats harsh! Oh well, thats life.
See, we usually get pretty close when we hang out, I just figured maybe she was embarassed about it and didn't want to admit it, or maybe she actually didn't remember. I've tried to just let her slide before, but she always messages me on aim and stuff, even though we dont end up hanging out except at parties because there isnt really anything to do. She's really sending mixed signals. I hadn't even consittered maybe this was her way of saying she isn't intrested, man, I wish she could have just come out and said it if it's true. Oh well. Thanks for the advice guys, I'll definately call her out on it.

Re: rather comedic and awkward situation
Oh yeah
shes definitely lying- that much is for sure.
But it's possible she's lying because she DOES like you. Think about it.
I mean, it is two days later and you haven't asked her out. Two days is like a year in teenage girl time. She might be thinking that you're rejecting her, and it's her way of saving face.
And/or perhaps she's trying to make it look like sluttly actions and such her atypical of her normal behavior.
Ever think of that you freakin' pessimists?

Personally, I try not to deal with liars. It's up to you what to do, but I advice against pursuit of this particular female.

Re: rather comedic and awkward situation
Yeah well if she is lying obviously thats totally fucked and I can't touch that.
She isn't actually slutty though, I've been courting her for a while, we're about 20ish.

Re: rather comedic and awkward situation
Tell her you like her...And that you really enjoyed her company at the party, whether she remembered it or not.
See what happens from there mate.
She may regret kissing you...But then again she might just be shy...That's what you have to find out.
Once you have found that out you can work on what to do.
For example, if she regrets it, you can just say "Ahhh well...Fuck it!".
If she is shy, you could invite her out on a date or something.
Just find out what the deal is first.
Good luck sonny boy!

Re: rather comedic and awkward situation
from my experiences, a girl that sends you mixed signals means that she doesn't like you. Guys was women to like them, so they will interpert every little thing as the girl likes them.

Re: rather comedic and awkward situation
If she "lied" at any point, it was probably when she said she wasn't that drunk. People who have been drinking are not always reliable.
People seem to be making a lot of assumptions here. The simplest explanation is that she indeed was drunk, and doesn't remember many details. If she seemed shocked, she was probably shocked at her forward behavior. And a bit of what nocuous said is probably true, that she would have liked it if you asked her out.

A good point here. Yeah too much confusion, I'm just going to not talk to her anymore, seems like the easiest route to go on.

That's the best advice I could give at this rate.
