How to go on...
Alright heres the dealio, I haven't talked to my friend in like... *counts*... 2 years maybe, except online once when I told him "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!". I need a way to fix this fast, before it's too late. Here are some things about us/him.
We used to hang out together alot, such as listen to music, play games, make up games, etc until about 7th grade. That's when it all went downhill. I understand that he's going through adolescence because he was a late "bloomer" shall we say, and he's an only child and lives with his mom and therefore doesn't have any brothers or a dad to tell him or guide him. We had alot in common, and I guess that was because thats was the only thing I knew how to be because we influenced what eachother liked since we were like 7.
I think I may like him, but try to keep it in the back of my mind because I have this feeling that there is no hope, no chance left. We always said when we were little that we would date later on, and everyday when I see him in the cafeteria I think of that memory. It's so clear, I picture where we were, the rain, where we were sitting, everything. He's so... I don't know the word, valueable?! to me... and I can't let go.
What do I do?? How do I tell him without freaking him out?? How do I tell him I still think about him everyday?? Please help me anyway you can.

Re: How to go on...
Why don't you jsut tell him how you feel. Or gradually work ur relationship back together, then tell him.

Re: How to go on...
Just start talking to him again. Call him every now and then. Start hanging out again. Then tell him how you feel.

You could always do what I did and let maturity take care of all your worries. Give it time, you'll get it.

It's not just in america by the way. So you know what to do. Don't talk. Act. You can gradually recover your relationship and at some point signal your interest(signal, not state). You didn't ask for a complete guide so I assume you don't need one. Just go with the flow.
