Long story short, K**** and I were at this club for our anniversary, watching people karaoke and laughing because they fucking sucked so bad (well, I was, in my mind). Yeah, I know it's a sap-ass love song, but that's the point. I was indeed touched, to say the least. It does describe to a degree how her and I met; not the setting, but the chemistry between the two in the song. Anyway, yeah, memories. So, share away.

Well ... I found that I was falling in love with my best (male) friend, but he was taken and then I too found someone, a person who even asked if I would accept an engagement ring. A smallish part of me was buried that day, because the ring I wore promised that I would never be able to follow through with what I felt for my friend.

Well, the friend's relationship ended, and then a few months ago, mine did as well.

So we start tossing the idea around of dating (the best friend and I), but I was too scared to say anything. This is a fear borne of too many years of being screamed at or worse for saying something unpalatable ... so the best thing a lover's done for me was when he looked me in the eye and said "*insert real name*, you have nothing to worry about".

I know it sounds lame in words, I know I'm not describing that "moment" right at all ...

Nope. You're just plain wrong about that one. Manic and depressed are very different. Manic depressive and bi-polar are the same. And it's not something that I'm afflicted with. I've just got standard depression, and because I take pills to treat that, it's really not an issue. And I'm not 14 as of a month ago. And I'm not a lesbian. You're way wrong (as usual).
