what ARE the chances even if she's on the pill??? she's on the pill but still wants me to wrap it but it feels so fucking good without! but if she wants that... it's wrap it or no sex so yah... but is the 99% thing really true??? have you ever had any experiences with pregnancy while ON the pill??? thanx for any info.

If you think about it, 99% odds aren't very good if you consider that the risk will be taken multiple times, and what happens if any one of those times is the other 1%...

The thing is with the pill , there are other factors that influence it's reliability . Such as , if the female has been ill during that month and has thrown up or gets diarrhea , late or forgotten pills . Also depending on what type of contraceptive pill it is as to how effective it is ( mini-pill etc) . If taken correctly with out any of these other things factoring in - the pill is on whole quite reliable.

Where do people get the 99% statistic?
The pill is 92%-99.7% effective against pregnancy. User error is the main cause for the failure rate.

The same place they get the "70%" rate for condoms. Conservatives. Contraception is bad the bible says so blah blah blah GOD meant for us to have children blah I love Jesus blah blah blah
