i found out that my dad is cheating on my mum and i didnt know which forum to put it in so i put it here,i found out cos when i looked on his phone i saw txt messages from this woman, i know who she is and they make me pretty sure hes cheating,i wanna know how i can actually catch him in the act because i have no car or motorbike to follow him and i couldnt keep up if i used my kike so any sugestions on how i can stop my stupid fucking cheating dad?

Tell him you have an idea what's going on and you don't like it.

Also...Don't let him give you the old "It's complicated...You wouldn't understand" crap...Just be firm and tell him to sort things out with your old girl.

I mostly agree with d-eb and psycho. I'd actually advise you to completely mind your own business and stay out of it. Your parents are grown adults.

You might point out to your dad that you're aware of it, and he's failing to be discreet. But I'd leave it at that. He needs to come to his own conclusion about his actions. If you give him an ultimatum, or in any way try to tel him what he should do, he will likely say whatever is necessary to placate/appease you.

If you just let him know you're aware, and drop it, there's a better chance he'll focus on the morality issues rather than trying to defend himself.
