So like this girl I like was giving me a ride home from our night of gambling, and when she dropped me off we had like a playful arguement about me paying her 15$ for gas.The next day my friends girlfriend, who is her best friend, tells me she that when she after she dropped me off she conviced herself that she liked me....but that morning changed her mind?

Now, I've liked this girl for almost 2 years now. The only thing that has stopped me from expressing my feelings was her boyfriend....who is a friend of mine. But 2 months ago they broke up and since then ive been spending as much time with her as possible....but now what should i do? Should i ask her out...or should i let her go off to college and enjoy being single......i have until august 21......so my time of waiting has to end soon......any ideas at all will help....even the flames.....thanks

No way, not yet.

If you get together with her right before she goes to college, things won't be very solid. You won't be familiar of what she's around or who she's with. Unless you have more time to spend with her before college, then it might be O.K....

i dont think she likes you anymore then...

Perhaps she was trying to like you, to return the feelings that you have for her. Also, you'd have just under two weeks to really enjoy each other before having to decide between a long distance relationship and freedom. It would probably ultimately cause more pain than pleasure.

It sounds like you want a relationship with her, so I think that messing around iwth her for two weeks will hurt you alot, especially when she leaves for college and finds herself surrounded by guys.

When I left for college, I was sort of seeing someone ... we hooked up occassionally and went on a few dates, before I left. The first or second weekend of being at college, I found myself choosing between the old guy and the new one. Because there wasn't a firm foundation with the old one, I chose the new one. Maybe my story will help you out.

yeh your story reminds me off my friend...they tried the long distance thing and it just ended up hurting them even more.....but i live in rhode island and she goes to college in conneticut(i know i spelt that wrong) so we're not too far away...

i say tell her how you feel, and see how it goes, if her college isnt far, maybe you two can hang out on weekends, or even party.... and maybe even end up in a relationship... but yeah be sure to tell her how you feel, if you don't it will probably hurt more in the end....

I guess it really doesnt matter how far away she'll be from me for her to change her mind if this type of situation should come up....were you friends at all with the old guy?....cuz she's one of my closet friends, you think that might be a some what strong foundation?..

It could be enough to build up a foundation. It's just ... going away to college, away from home, changes people. Pretty much every couple from high school split in the first year of college, at least het ones I knew. You should tell her your feelings, so she knows ... but be prepared (as a back up plan) for some heart ache. I'm not being pessimistic, I just want you to be aware of the possible consequences.

Being prepared for the pain is your best bet, and as for what to say, just your exact feelings, no mushy crap, just the truth... if you get together, try to make it last, if it doesent... then at least you know that you tried

about 3 hours ago she told me she was gonna go see her ex to see if they could still be friends....and then come over to my house.....havent got a call or anything and she always calls....even to cancel......looks like ive lost to him again.......thank you guys for sharing your input....they were helpful.....but i guess the worst of things happened.....kinda sucks.....it feels like she spit in my face and went running back to him.....
