You should be pulling it back anyway when you clean your cock. Otherwise it'll get black and drop off.

Don't worry too much though, it grows back aabout a half inch longer. You should try it. You can speed up the process by wrapping a rubber band tightly around it when you're hard. I'm on my 5th penis right now.
