Default Forced to break up - still love her

Heya

I'm most probly moving in a couple weeks, to another city 500 kilometres away.

I really love my gf, we've been together for 4 months soon, and i'm so in love with her.

I haven't seen her for 7 weeks, her vacating in russia - i might not be able to see her in real life before i move. This sunday i might be able to call her tho. Of course we can have a long distance relationship, but that's pretty difficult.. So i feel like i'm forced to breaking up with her because i have to move out... So what do i tell her, and how do i cope with breaking up with the girl i love, and being without her for like a year?

Have any of you had a long distance relationship? How do they work out if you can't really travel and call alot? :\

*sad*

Long Distance Relationships made easy, dont get involved. However, if you really love the chicklet then call her as often as possible and arange meetings on weekends. Ocassionally, have her stay with you a week and vise versa. Most I've seen work out as long as the feelings are mutual. Good Luck!

Heh, I'm going through the same thing right now man. So I feel for ya. As of right now it's going as well as it can go I suppose. I talk to her everyday online, and she calls me on the weekends.(I would call her, but I don't have long distance cause I'm poor.) I've just about saved enough cash to go see her, for her birthday though. Truth be told it really sucks to not have her around, but if you really love your gal like I do mine. Isn't it better to have to wait a little while for your love, then to say goodbye forever and know you won't ever be with her again?

This thread tugs at my sensitive li'l Infra-heartstrings. No, really, it does.

All I can say is that you, well, talk to her. Tell her exactly what you feel about the situation, reveal to her your fears, your thoughts, your possible solutions, anything. Seek her hand. If what you guys have is real, she won't let go of yours, no matter the distance. Don't create endings where they don't exist.

I know I'm not much help; I'm very...fuzzy, this morning. However, if you'd like to chat more, feel free to write me at the email address in my profile, or just address me here, any time.

Take care, man, and try to keep a positive outlook, even if all you feel is negative. Play the hand you're dealt.

I'll try to keep it going then, even tho i have to move. I'll still be able to be with her in all my vacations and even some random weekends. :)

As for infra, i appreciate the offer, but i really dunno how to chat with a man who writes milelong posts. ;>

Wow, I was just about to post something like this, except my situation is the other way around, My girl is moving 8 hours away from me, and i fuckin love her to death, I'm probably going to start college in a town thats a couple hours from where she is, well at least I was we had a huge fucking fight last night, now i feel like shit because she moved today, and she was still mad at me, I don't really know what to do, so if someone wants to help me out, as well, it would be pretty fucking cool, as for you situation if you're really in love with her and y'all aren't fighting you can make it work,

Tell her you love her and don't want to have to break up even though you're moving. Ask her if seeing you only once in a while is good enough. Maybe you guys could see other people, because you're far away, but when you get back together, it'll be like old times. You guys will be forced to be friends that love each other a great deal. That's ok. But I wouldn't expect a girl to me loyal to me if I were that far away. It's not respectful of her need/will to have relationships.

.....

>eyes narrow<

You chat with me like you would any other fucking man: Like you would any other fucking man! Jesus shit. Sure, I'm highly intelligent, fucked-up, loquatious and emotional as hell, but I'm not as abnormal or impersonable as you think. If you decide, begin your email with "Hi Infra, this is Kjexsz (probably misspelled). How's it going? I thought I'd take you up on your offer. I was just wondering if...", whatever. No, it doesn't have to be just like that, or something; I'm not a goddamn IRS auditor. Even if you aren't seeking advice, you're welcome to write anyway. I love guns, hot women, cooking, pharmacology, psychology, mechanics, technology, magazines, pathophysiology, Jay Leno, Godsmack, Pink Floyd, A Perfect Circle, torch lighters, chapstick, katanas, Reservoir Dogs, The Bourne Supremacy, bitchin' stereo systems, Metal Gear Solid, shiny objects, whatever the fuck.

However, enough about me already. You did nail my propensity for garrulous posts right in the eye.

Try making the trip at 2am, then you can get away with doing 120 MPH on the highways cause all the cops are sleeping and so is all the traffic(be careful though), cuts trip time in half. And what people said above about talking with her about it.

sorry to be a buzzkill, specially not in S&A, but it's only been four months, so it isnt love, puppy love, infatuation... all that crap, try to go with the long distance relationship, if it works, more power to ya, but also remember the whole theres more fish in the sea thing... 9yeah that always did piss me off, feel a little hyprocitical(SP) with that...)

I am sure it can be real love after four months. Although usually it probably isn't after such a short time, that's still not a reason not to at least try to make it work.
