what's the difference between a girl that's addicted to sex and a slut? i know there's a fine line between the both. what is it?

I really don't think there's much of a difference. A girl who's addicted to sex might have only had one boyfriend..but just have sex with him a lot. I know a girl who's only slept with two guys, myself and her current bf, and she has sex an average of twice a day. A slut on the other hand would sleep around with a bunch of guys.

I think slutty girls sleep with multiple guys in a short time, while sexaholics just keep after the same one.

But that's just me.

i think such labels are judgemental and often plain wrong.

Sluts are usually bitches who will do anything, like use people, to get sex, from anyone they can.

Sexaholics are just regular, nice people who really, really like sex.

Sex addiction/"sexaholics" is a mental and/or emotional condition. It's a psychological dependency. A person who can be described as this is usually not in control of their addiction and is often powerless over their urges. Just like any other addiction.

A slut might be described as one who has indiscriminate sex with any available partner, usually without thought to consequences. Men would far outnumber women in this case.

The original poster's "sex addict" is an imagined thing, a model of that which never existed in the real, physical world. It's Disneyland's Main Street USA as a model of America. Sex Addicts (freaks) are girls that are hott, hott girls can't be sluts b/c their hott they can do whatev they want. Some chicks have something called power over the guys they have sex w/ they can control them simply by satisfying them the first time, then their not a slut.
