I don't know what sort of hellish braces you monkeys have but mine never had anything that a penis could get caught on. Its almost entirely based on the front of your teeth with smoothed edges that make them hardly noticible to kissing/sucking or anything.

What I believe D is talking about it the retaining wire put in place after the braces are removed. Its basically a wire cemented to the back of the teeth and is used in lieu of a retainer. I have one on my lower set of teeth and its pretty sweet. I can tell you this much, my bottom teeth look better than my top... I can't even find my removable retainer.
