It's happened.
So it happened. the guy ive been "seeing" for a while asked me out today. That's good, right? Sure, because I wanted to date him. But there are a few little problems, the main one being that I'm...afraid to let him kiss me.
Why? After thinking about it, i think its that I'm afraid of not being as good as his past girlfriends. I think i have a picture of him being notoriously hard to please, due to neither his ex girlfriend nor a good friend of both of ours who ALSO gave him a blow job recently could get him off.
Yeah.
I don't really know what to do, because I don't want to sit down and just be like, "are you comparing me to your ex??", but i also don't want to just be afraid of it. Do you think i'll get over it? Any advice?
If it helps, this is my first relationship in quite a while [over a year] so that might be part of it.

Re: It's happened.
You're setting yourself up for failure if you're already nervous about being with him physically. Look at it as something fun that will bring you closer together. Just because the two of you might not be able to satisfy each other right now doesn't mean you can't learn. Exploring the body of a person who you are infatuated/in love/whatever with is fun!
Don't be afraid to ask for direction and give it. Express your concerns to him. In my experience, guys won't talk about their dreaded shortcomings but they're more than eager to listen when it comes to pleasing you. Generally, even people that are sexually experienced don't know everything that makes their new beau tick. After 30 years of giving head, you're still going to have to tweak your technique a little for your man.
Don't be nervous - look at it as a great oppurtunity. I wish I could still find guys who didn't have a clue. I love training them.
Hopefully, you'll be comfortable with him soon enough to lose the bit of anxiety you have. That and a change of mindset and you're good to go!

Re: It's happened.
You gotta realize, most guys could give a flying fuck how good the girl is, 99 percent of the time they're more worried about their own performance. You'll be fine, trust me.

get in his head, he knows he wants you. you just have to help it along a bit. and never be afraid to ask

Re: It's happened.
In my experience when you first kiss someone new your both a little unsure of what the other is going to do. Once you have been kissing for a while though you just kind of know what to expect from the other and it all goes smooth. You might be bad on your first one but you'll kind of figure it out, practice! Its pretty hard to be a bad kisser really. Good Luck.
