Default Does this hormone really exist ?

I was watching Sex and the city the other day and from what I understand, women produce a hormone that is relased in the brain after sex.... This hormone makes them feel attached to the person they just slept with, weather its a wun nighter or a long relationship.

Is it true ?

If so, what is it called ?

Yes, it's true. But it exists in both males and females. As far as how much is in guys vs. womem, donno. But if I remember correctly, it's a slow changed. Something like from Lust-->Attachment.

Explain to me what the point of writing "one" as "wun" is, when it fails to make the word any shorter. All it really seems to do is make you look dumb. I am absolutely stumped.

its not a hormone, its a catechclolamine. a cousin is released when you take ephedra.

It's probably a very complex system, with many different chemicals involved. One part is probably * Anandamide * , I'm slightly vague but there are * Brain Chems * that are like THC & like that Chem in * Chocolate * .

Some say that one reason the round & curvey like their Chocolate is the Chem in it that makes them feel like they're in Luuuuuuv.

Sooo...let's get together with some Choccy, Bud & pretend we're in Luuuuuuv.

What does this have to do with the original question? Catecholamines are epipnephrine, norepiniephrine and dopamine, which are neurotransmitters having to do with stress. What do you mean by "a cousin"? Ephedra doesn't have much to do with it.

To address the original question, you may be thinking of oxytocin, the "cuddle hormone".

Funnily enough, this hormone is also released when eating chocolate.

I heard that ducks have this impressionistic period when they're young, and they memorize the sound and look of their mother. And if you feed them at that age, they can take you as the impression of their mother.

I know what oxytocin is, what it does, and have never heard that it's release leaves an emotional impression on a woman. Then again, who am i to say that we are different from ducks?
