It's sex, not a heart transplant.
The title can be taken in two ways. The way I'm intending is to say: "it's not as important as a heart transplant", although feel free to take it as "it's not as complicated as a heart transplant".
What I'm trying to say is that sex, when you first have it, who you have it with, how you have it, with what inanimate objects you enhance it, it's not important.
Sex is sex is sex, it's a highly pleasurable act that is intended to result in procreation, it's not a fucking heart transplant nor is it the fucking be all end all of contentment, it's nothing worth devoting your entire life to.
</end useful portion of the post, engage bitchy portion>
So get a grip, it's not as important as you've been led to believe. Whether you have sex at all, or whether you have it twice a day: it doesn't matter. Nobody cares. Devote your time to something more useful. Life isn't all about your own vapid pleasure; there are other ways to get your kicks.

Lovely. However it doesn't matter how important we consider sex to be. Society sees it as very important. So if we run around shagging everything, or if we run around shagging nothing, we will be judged in some very serious way by the vast majority of people we meet.

Glitterpunk.. You can shag everything, and act like you don't shag anything at all.

of course hes not. if her were, his entire post would simply say:
"You're all whorish heretics, and you will all burn in hell for your lustful animal-sins. (subtext: I hate you becasue you're allowed to have sex and I'm not.)

Re: It's sex, not a heart transplant.
he has a point. what we get know is little kids (11-14) who have no real buisness having sex trying thier hardest to get laid. then posting stupid questions here about it. there is too much crap that goes with sex (not just relationship stuff) that makes the whole thing a huge deal (which is mainly the fault of the religious).

Sex has many consequences, so it should never be taken lightly. Sex is meant to make babies, and it feels good so you'll do it, thus the species will survive (or try to at least). People in that age group (11-14) are not mature enough to recognize the consequences of sex. Then they have sex and don't know what the hell they're doing and someone ends up pregnant or hurt when it wasn't necessary. Eh, my point is this: If you're going to have sex, you really should learn all you can about it, or you can go become a father at 12 if you so desire.

No this is exactly what I'm trying to speak out against. It's not a big deal. Have it when you're fucking 10 for all I care, fuck society's view of it.

Re: It's sex, not a heart transplant.
Then again, once you go a period of time without, it starts to look more like a heart transplant in seriousness.
