Being drunk affect behavior?
People who are drunk; does their behavior change? Sexually? Would they do it without thinking? Just curious i see many posts about people being drunk and cheating on their bf/gfs. Why does being drunk affect it?

Re: Being drunk affect behavior?
Of course alcohol changes behavior. It's a depressant and it lowers inhibitions. People do stupid shit when they're drunk all the time, but it's no excuse. If you think you're responsible enough to drink, you should be ready to take responsibility for whatever you do when you're drunk.

Re: Being drunk affect behavior?
Yeah, when I am drunk I am more flirtacious, but I know between when to stop and when to advance, it just depends on the type of drunk you are.

Re: Being drunk affect behavior?
Being drunk isn't a reason, it's an excuse. If a girl doesn't want to have sex, she'll so. They use the drunk card to escape being called a slut. It's like the word "no" is so hard to say when your wasted.
If a boyfriend tried to say they cheated on me beacuse they were drunk I would laugh at them. Alcohol doesn't make you temporarily retarded. Although some people will do really stupid things while trashed, you're still responsible for your actions.
Just so this isn't misread, I'm not saying someone can't be taken advantage of physically but if your conscious and you have enough energy to kiss and grind back, you have the presence of mind to say no and leave.

Re: Being drunk affect behavior?
In answer to the poster, next time your at a party, walk up to a drunk girl and start talking to her. If you can be bothered listening to her drunken babble for longer than fifteen minutes she's gauranteed to be all over you. I'm not sexist, thats just really the truth in my experiences. And no I don't just get onto drunk girls. Guys try do the same thing too, but tend to get turned down a lot more than girls do.

Re: Being drunk affect behavior?
Your behaviour does change, different levels for different people. If you're a drunk that looses control easily, you shouldn't drink enough to do something stupid. I would never cheat, no-matter how drunk I got, but then I don't lose control completely.
If my girlfriend did get drunk and cheat on me, I wouldn't leave her. Although I would be majorly pissed off, but then I love her and she hasn't done one thing to hurt me so far, more then eight months. I guess it also depends on how forgiving you're as a lot of people wouldn't forgive themselves. I'd be guessing the types that mean to not sleep with people are the ones who aren't stupid enough to do it.

Re: Being drunk affect behavior?
I'm a girl..and yes I do act different when I'm drunk/drinking. I'll talk to any guy, I'll flirt with any guy. Drinking makes me horny as hell and I cant help that, but it doesnt mean I'm going to have sex with every guy who talks to me. Just sometimes you need to know when to stop

Re: Being drunk affect behavior?
When im drunk, I let all of my inhibitions go. It has made for some memorable sexual experiences. I think as women we carry some baggage as to what is acceptable sexually and not. A couple of shots of Guervo, and the airport loses my luggage. On the other hand though, give me a man im totally comfortable with and the same thing happens.

Re: Being drunk affect behavior?
Here's the thing, I actually saw a special on this.
When guys get drunk, they loose some control. But the harmone that's actually responsible for making them horny actually drops a little. So it's a control issue with guys.
When girls get drunk, that "horny" harmone level rises 4 to 5 times it's normal level. So it's a harmone issue with them. But here's the interesting part...
That high "horny" level for the girls is about the same amount that flows through guys on a normal basis. I mean like all the time. It's just that over time guys get used to it cuz it's always there. For girls when they experience that level, they're not ready for it so they lose control. That's why guys are so sensitive to sight, you see someone and your turned on instantly. (I'm a guy).

Re: Being drunk affect behavior?
The thing about being drunk, is that it allows your subconscious self to take control. What you do when you're drunk is what you desire to do, but hold back with your conscious mind...essentially, drunks show their true selves.

Re: Being drunk affect behavior?
For awhile, I thought booze made me hornier. No. What it does it make me less-inhibited, of course, so I'm just my normal, horny self, but I don't act like a gentleman or try to hold anything back. Optimus is basically right.

Re: Being drunk affect behavior?
This point should not be brought up outside of Humanities, but you can thank "Optimus Prime" for inspiring it.
The fact that you're doing something that you wouldn't do with full inhibitions, doesn't make it part of what you truly are. It's not even your subconciouss that pushes your behaivour when you're drunk. It comes back to instinct and the drive for sex is higher then all barr thirst. If you're claiming that your subconciouss is what gives you your drunk drives, then you're right off the mark because it is effected as much as your control is.
But then I'm going to get pissed now, goodnight.

Re: Being drunk affect behavior?
I've really only been drunk 2 and a half times (the half was a few nights ago... I was already stoned so I couldn't really make out that many effects of the drinking).
But when I was drunk, I could control everything I was doing. I didn't have any urges to grab a girl and fuck. I was just as horny as I always am. I wouldn't just rabble off stupid ass things and do things I regret, because I could remember everything I did, and control everything I did.
Maybe I just wasn't drunk enough, I don't know. The only time I do stupid shit is when I'm high.

Re: Being drunk affect behavior?
i got pissed at my girlfriend because she was going to drink with other guys when i was not around. so, one night me and my roomates(my girlfriend is one) threw a party. i was all over one of my girlfriends friends(just to make her mad). turns out, she didn't see it, but she heard about. when she asked me why i did it, i said "i was so drunk, i cant remember doing that at all. im sorry". i remember every last bit. teaches her to fuck with my emotions.

I might get silly when I'm drunk, but that's it. I never did anything sexual when I was drunk or under the influence of any drugs. Just the opposite of most people.
I can't even masterbate when I'm drunk because I can't feel a damn thing, so it's a waste of time trying.

Re: Being drunk affect behavior?
I personally seem to want sex alot more when im drunk but its still no excuse for cheating on a bf/gf. I still have the ability to say no as much as i dont want to.

Re: Being drunk affect behavior?
when i first started to get drunk i didn't drink with moderation so i got to a point where i lost control of myself...i heard i was a complete ass but i never did anything sexual, also because no girls where there. then i got used to losing control so even now if i get real drunk i get stupid. i agree with most people that u dont get more horny its just that u may b more apt to doing something. if i hang out with this chick this weekend i might get a buz so i can flow with everything and not get all tense and nervous and shit.
