Please define 'true love'. The phrase gets tossed about by the media so often it has lost all meaning.

You would never know. I had thought i had true loves until i had met the girl i believe is my true love, and thats when i realized what true love really is. You just bullshit yourself until you find it. Btw, do you run a server on UT2k4 for a mod called carball... or is it just a name coincidence?

I'd deal. I'd prolly date a lot and just be with someone who makes it as close as possible. If I really hadn't met someone, I'd be with someone else. It may not be "true ever lasting love" but affection is addictive...

side note: this is the only time i've pondered this. its kind of a depressing subject

If true love had never came to me, then i'd be up for one night stand's each and every night.

True love is very much like good sex: you don't know how good it is until you've had it.

And until a person has it, s/he is likely to want to think it's no big deal, and it can't be that good.

i too dont beleive in a soul mate. as in, one person whos that damned special. there are many imo.

i have been truly in love, once. and i can say after it was over, and i was over her, that i didnt miss it at all. its kinda like prison, you get out and in a couple months you dont even really remember it.

but i was sure that thered be more posts from the dead around here saying how they couldnt live without it.

I prefer narcissistic self-love to 'true love'...narcissism requires very little effort, and no matter the actual results, you believe you're doing great.

I would be quite content.

How can you miss something you've never had, you wouldn't know there was anything worth missing.

I have "true loved" a lot of people, potential soul mates who i loved with my heart and soul...only i either never told them or they didn't love me back heh....

it's not about "finding" true love, it's being ready when that potentially great relationship comes along. ready to recognize it, ready to make time for it, ready to compromise a little. That's all.
