Default What counts as gay or bi?

I have a friend that likes to be sucked off by other guys. I say that this counts as a bisexual activity, but he argues that since he isn't doing anything it doesn't count. He just chooses men because it's easier for him to get a fruity feller to give him a hummer than it is to get a woman to.

Another scenario.

My wife and I had a threesome with an otherwise straight girl. She laid there and my wife and I went down on her, but she didn't touch my wife below the waist. Does that count as bi for her?

Weird questions, I know. I just seem to get into strange arguments with strange people.

Hmmm, I think the former and latter are both homosexual activities. Just because you don't "do anything" to the other person doesn't mean it isn't homosexual. The same goes for only doing "something" to a certain area.

I'm a guy who prefers males to females. But then again, I've had sex with females and enjoyed it. So I guess technically I'm bi.

I once read somewhere, that very few people are either 100% straight or 100% gay. Most straight people won't admit they've ever had any attraction to the same gender. It works the same way for most of the gay people I've met as well(denying having attraction to the opposite gender).

People like to either consider themselves perfectly straight or perfectly gay. Very few people like to consider themselves bi. It is much more confusing. Especially for someone who calls himself a straight guy and probably prefers females to males.

People should just learn not to give such a fuck and do what feels good(as long as it's consensual of course). Regardless of what people want to label it.

Yeah. I wonder if it'll happen in time. It seems like it would have to, but then again, homosexuality has been around forever and people still aren't used to it.

Personally, I consider myself straight but don't really have much of a problem admitting I'm not 100%. Honestly, I could probably enjoy an...experience with another man, but I just feel I prefer females and see no reason not to just stick with them, so I consider myself straight rather than bi.

It doesn't even matter what actions you take, it's the attractions that matter. If you're attracted to both sexes, you are bi; if you're attracted to the same sex only, you are gay. If you're attracted to people based only on personality, then you're pan. If you're attracted to nothing, then you're asexual. Then you have the whole field of fetishes, which are rather indiscriminate of which sex is involved.

I knew someone was going to say that.

It really is my friend. I know that labels don't really matter and that it doesn't make any difference, but it's just an interesting argument that we have. He says he would never have anal giving or recieving and would never give oral to another guy. So in his mind that makes him straight. But I think that since he has sex with women but still has a sexual encounter with another man, that would make him bi.

It's just a blurry line and I wanted to hear some opinions on it.

I think he's still straight if it's entirely for the pleasure of a blowjob, rather than added pleasure from it being a guy. Even a straight man would be stimulated by a dick in his ass if it stimulates the prostate. Your friend MAY just be a complete man-whore and value the pleasure of a blowjob over the simple matter of what sex the person sucking his cock is.

That's the point that he brings up all the time. He says it doesn't matter who is doing it. Since gay guys are always in local chatrooms and at adult theaters and video booths he can get a BJ anytime he wants.

I say that it's still a form of sex, so it still counts.

Sex doesn't imply attraction. I've fucked some really ugly women before that I wasn't attracted to at all...they were all that was around at the time and I was horny.

That's true.

rlpinca, I'd say that classes as bisexual. He received sexual stimulus from a member of the same sex. He reached orgasm. Therefore it is a homosexual activity? How else would it be classified? Non-sexual? That's stupid.

What about animals? Birds sometimes pair bond with people. Many a bird has bonded with a person & will lay eggs only for that person.

The bird is implying consent. Is it OK to jump that birds bones?
