Ok, A few months back, I met up with a girl I used to go to school with.

We were dating for about a month or two, then someone told her parents about my history and criminal record. She called me up, really upset and crying, and she told me her dad won't let her date me anymore.

Anyways, any suggestions? I really like this girl and want to be with her.

If she is still living with her parents, as in, they feed her, cloth her, and put a roof over her head it's their right to have some control over her life. It might not seem "cool" to her, or to you, but they, really, are looking out for their daughter's own good. They assume because you've got a "history", you are a bad person.

Accept it and be done with it.

Just let it go. She'll either forget about you, or find her own way of getting to you. If she does, then, try something a little more proactive.

It's up to her. If she likes you enough she'll find ways to see you. That'll make it that much more fun - "Forbidden love".

When I had a curfew, I would sneak out of the house and be out all night. Sometime during high school my parents lifted the curfew rule and I could leave as I pleased. Going out at midnight all of a sudden wasn't as fun anymore.

What did you do to get you arrested or what not?

If you arn't doing it anymore try talking to her parents how you regret what happened and you don't want it to happen again.

5. Simple Assult

6. Breaking and Entering

7. Retail Theft



Yes I regret them all, I have been through numerous juvenile facilities, and "learned my lesson".

I haven't gotten a citation in over a year and all of my probation urine tests have been clean. I am getting off probation in a week or two, by then it will be almost 2 years of being on probation.

Tell her parents if they'll let you continue to see their daughter you'll consider not breaking into their house and stealing all their shit... or, what the other posters said.

All well and good.. so long as he still keeps in touch with her and makes it clear he still has feelings for her. To drop it completely wouldn't be in his best interest since he is still interested in her.

I feel for ya, man. I've had my fair share of trouble, and word spreads fast. Not much you can do about it, just deal.

I ran into a little legal trouble last year, and got expelled from university (story for another day). Now, it seems that it's the first thing I hear about whenever I run into an old classmate or buddy from high school. They really don't give me a chance to prove that I "learned my lesson" in the first place; at least you have that much.

Yeah, even some of my family hates me.

My one aunt, wont let her son come near me, he's a year younger and when we were kids, 99% of the little things we got into were his idea, but I got blamed.



And school, thats the worse, I switched schools a few times. The school I am at now, the 1st time I got suspended, the principal said to me. "I just took a look at your school records, if I would have known you were going to cause this much trouble sooner, I would have never let you into my school"

I got suspended again after that and he still lets me in, only because if I do anything he knows my probation officer will put me in "Bethesda AEP" Alternatives Education Program, for people with a bad school history.
