Default Girlfriend trouble, damn it...!

Ok, I had (still have, but for tense purposes, I will be talking in the past) this girl who acted like she liked me. So I asked her out. She said "ok," but now after a week (sad huh?) she has decided to "take a break" for unknown reasons. She won't say why. Now, don't just tell me she's mentally unstable. I know she has a good share of problems that she should probably be taking MAOI's for, but I'm just looking for a more logical answer. I'm really nice to her and treat her with the utmost respect, yet she still wants a break. Tell me what's up (if it's even possible.)

I have no clue why you think this would belong here. I'm sending your post to Sex & Affection.

Ha. Hahaha. HAHAHAHAHA!

Sorry, I found that funny. Females aren't logical all the time. Maybe she just didn't want to have a bf. Maybe you have bad breath. Maybe her parents forbade her to have a bf. Maybe her hormones are acting up.

Speculating is just going give you mental problems. If she won't tell you what's up, you can either wait it out and hope she feels like talking soon, or forget her and move on.

How is it you consider her a girlfriend after just one week?

Uhh, I want sex, so I figured that being her boyfriend would do the trick! But I really would like to have a long-term relationship full of love and caring too. She probably isn't the right girl for that I guess...

Oh also, should I pressure her to tell me why? And should I tell her that since I am no longer her boyfriend ("break") I'm going to go fuck someone she hates? Or just anyone else...

I've got it! Either: 1. She really has a problem with liking me, e.g. she's trying to decide who's better, me or some other guy...

2. She is clinically insane and is also a manic depressive who has no self esteem, so when I'm all nice and shit all the time she can't comprehend it because no one has ever been that nice to her...

3. She is testing me to see if my intentions are true, e.g. if I can manage to not get pissed at her for being "cryptic" (calling me every day, but then saying she doesn't want to talk to me if I have to get off the phone) during the two weeks she's in California...and I am also a genius.

I like number three personally Any ideas on why she calls but then says she doesn't want to call me back? That's just a little fucked up! <-maybe some ladies can answer this one

Oh and Gustave, let's be constructive!! EVERYONE knows you're a hilarious guy, but if I was looking for comical anecdotes relating to stones I would have titled the post "Need some comical anecdotes relating to stones..." ^^

You fucking tool, if you are "going out" with her, you have a right to know why she isn't hanging with you. Of course you should pressure her to tell you why. Go up to her and say "Bitch, you should have thought about whether or not you wanted to get into a relationship before you hooked up with me. Now fess up or get out, whore."

I seriously doubt she's testing you this early in a relationship. That's not a very good way to start off a relationship, and if she thinks it is then she's probably not worth being with either. Most likely she's just fucked up, or like you said she's trying to decide between you and some other guy she's boning. Dude, you need to fuck up her "alone time" shit, stop being such a bitch.

She's not your girlfriend. You're not her boyfriend. She's just a girl who likes to say she has a boyfriend, but doesn't actually care about who it is. And you're just a tool who wants to get laid. You're both immature and stupid. But it's okay. You can fix the situation. Here's how:

1. Find a cliff

2. Jump off it.

It's all pretty simple. Good luck

Sometimes girls think they like a guy, and then when they actually get with them they realize that they really don't. So maybe that's her problem. I think you should just forget about her and find a better girl.

Fuck her, fuck her like a lion does a zebra. She is a whiny dickteasing whore, I've shared experiences with millions of those in the past.

Don't let her use her "mental problems" as a scapegoat, I have "mental problems" that can't be fixed by pills, i don't WHINE. Either go on a shooting rampage if you liked this girl, or simply leave her. I am leaning towards the former.

Ok loyal posters, I have the solution! I talked to her last night and she said that some of the stuff I said (I am very opinionated) about her friends she really hated, so that's one reason she's not going out with me. She is going to go out with another kid, but she says she still likes me and might want to go out with me again. I said that I would accept if she asked me out later (once she remembers how hot I am.) I agreed to be her friend, and she thinks that I am just waiting around for her to go out with me because I tell her that I only like her and no one else. But, in reality, I am hooking up with two other chicks!! I'm not going to tell her this, even if I end up going out with them. I know this ALL sounds VERY juvenile, and it is, but HA-that will teach her to play with my emotions, damn it! Tell me what you think of this, besides that I am pathetic-I already know that.

Heh. In a way, this is pretty funny.

Girl goes out with guy, tries him out for a week, realizes that he is not the guy for her, and breaks it to him gently by going on a "break". Guy doesn't understand why this girl went out with him in the first place if she didn't want to have a long, meaningful relationship with him, which of course would include sex.

IT'S CALLED DATING, DUMBASS! GET A CLUE!

And Guswut, not all sexes are created equal. Women naturally base their decisions on emotion more than men. This is usually considered illogical, although not necessarily wrong.
