Default OW... waxing

I've had one brazilian wax before in my life. I'm having another one, and I was was wondering if anybody out there has any tips on how to make it hurt less. It's a bitch having all your pubic hairs ripped out.

Maybe you should just put up with the pain. I'm sure if there was a painless way to do it, someone would have invented it and made millions by now. It's just one of those things.

Besides, It's worth it, Isn't it?

It certainly is worth it! But I'm sure there's a way to make it even slightly less painful. There must be. I don't think you guys really understand the degree to which I cannot stand any pain. I'm such a pussy (no pun intended).

Like I said, My ex used Aloe-Vera moisturiser and she always got over it quickly. I think it still must burn a bit after because there was to be no contact within 6 hours of it.

I say, no contact for 12 hours. I don't actually mind the after-hurties as much as when the actual hair follicles are being ripped from my skin.

It kinda made me giggle. As for your pain, take a small pebble and roll it inbetween your thumb and index finger. G.I.s in Veitnam P.O.W. camps used to do it to distract themselves and be able to stand torture and interrogation for hours.

I have never actually tried it or valided any statements made about it so try it and get back to me.

Get some Ambisol or Orajel from a pharmacy. It's a local anesthetic that's ment for teething babies. In theory it should help, but I don't wax so I'm just guessing.

Aloe Vera gel with lidocaine. Maybe... or just buy some injectible lidocaine. Illegally.

Where I live now it runs around $60 for a full-on Brazilian. Where I come from (California, silicon valley) it ran around $80-$100.

Steph, it just takes a few regular waxes and before you know it you're looking forward to having it done. It helps if you trim yourself to about 1/2" first. Another thing that could help is to shave first, then allow regrowth to at least 1/4", then schedule the waxing. I'm really not sure why these measures work; they were recommended to me when I first started, and they helped.

They're around $40 plus tip.

The first few times I went Arulyn only didn't get too close to the inside because that's where the nerves are. Month after month she moved in until I was comfortable with it all being removed. I think if she would have waxed all of it my first time I would have cried in pain.

It's just something you have to get used to. I don't mind the actual waxing part. It's the soreness after that lasts forever that gets to me. It's painful to walk sometimes.

I would give the aloe vera a shot. I really don't think you need to resort to injecting anestesia though. Beauty is pain!

If you get it done enough times the hair starts to become thinner and thinner, I've been getting full waxes once a month for over a year and I think there's definitely a difference.

If you really can't handle it, take a couple bars.

The first 2 times you get waxed it'll really hurt. Starting at 3 and thereafter, the pain level decreases dramatically with each consectetive waxing.

Why would he want a pic if he can have the real thing? Or doesn't he get any of it?

Guy in LA see's a job ad for a male to give Brazilians in a beauty parlor...he rings ands asks the girl about the job...

She asks "Can you get to New York?

He asks "Is that where the job is?"

She replies "No...thats where the end of the queue is..."

I'll do a brazilian wax for you.... If I were you, I would come in so drunk that you are about to pass out. Then you will probably fall asleep during the wax.

My girl really likes it when I'm smooth, like just shaved. The problem is, that only lasts for a day and I can't get a good shave without going against the grain, which in turn makes pain and itching afterwards. Mainly itching, the pain only happened the first time but the hair was too shortly trimmed when I did it. We tried waxing me once with one of those stupid no heat or cold things that you just stick on and pull off. Didn't work very well at all and hurt so very much. I'm not going to go get it done, I'd only do it myself. So are there any good procedures do remove these damn pubes? What kind of wax works best? The shit I used would only take out some of the hair and still left some behind, making me need to do it repeatedly, causing great pain. Also, if any other guys have done this, what did you do about the hair on the base of your penis and on the scrotum? I'm afraid to try that one without knowing, I don't want to start bleeding or something. I'd rather go through a little while of pain and a few hours of discomfort and be smooth for a month then to have to shave every couple of days. Any advice would be appreciated.

I would not wax myself down there. If I were you, I'd get it done by a professional as a treat.

But while we're on the subject, if anybody happens to read this again (Mojo and Cindy mainly) does anyone know anything about at-home wax kits? Mainly for my legs, because I get the brazilian done, but I'm not made of money. So I have to either do the legs myself, shave them (which I am way too lazy to do all the time) or just leave them be (the hair is blonde and fine, so it's not really a huge deal). Any advice?

Thanks Mojo and Cindy for previous posts, they relieved me a lot.

To the topic poster: I got this far and almost fucking died laughing, so I don't know if this has been said yet or not:

When waxing, it eases it a little bit if you can tighten stuff up right before they rip. Like... flex your muscles, and just bear down. But that's pretty much it. You can take pain medication before hand, but I don't know how good that would work. (And then have them do the wax while you're slightly out of it.)

For a real, serious, response...

Get it done 1 1/2 to 2 weeks after your period last ended. right before or after, your skin down there is a lot more tender and itll hurt a lot more.
