Question about my Friendly Northern Neighbor
Now, I live in New York and since I'm 20 I make several trip to Canada with friends in order to get plastered (drinking age is 19). On my last visit I went to Toronto and saw my first ever hooker, and whats more it turns out shes legal!
I'm simply wondering is prostitution legal in all of Canada or just Toronto? I olny ask because I'm planiing another trip and we plan on having a Scavanger Hunt a la Viva la Bam/Reno 911 style and I want to know if I should include them in it since we plan on going to Niagra Falls.

Only in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. It's 19 everywhere else, including Ontario.
To address the topic: what made you think she was "legal"? I've seen prostitutes in many major cities, but just because I see them doesn't mean they're practicing a legal profession.
I think the laws are weird in Canada in that "theoretically" (whatever that means) selling one's body for sexual favors is not criminalized, but "practicing" it is.

Google "legal prostitution Canada" for some confusing info.

I can tell you right off, prostitution is definitely not legal anywhere in Canada.

Yep. Definitely not legal.
Although, to be honest, the Québecois (and the rest of us, come to think of it) like sex as much as the next person. Couple that with the fact that our beer is that much stronger et voila! you can pick up with ease.
