ill put my 2 cents in this..if you can afford the plane ticket, and willing to take the chance to go see this girl that POSSIBLY, keyword, possibly would like you even though she has a boyfriend/whatever, then do so..

But ask yourself the following questions

Does she love her man, or love you more.

Is she really worth it?

Is it actually a she or could it just be a stalker?

etc. you get the idea...

Follow your heart young one...

DOES THIS GIRL KNOW HOW YOU FEEL?

IF NOT YOU SHOULD TELL HER AND SEE HOW SHE FEELS ABOUT YOU. SHE HAS A MAN, YOU SAY, SO I DON'T KNOW.

TELL HER YOU ARE WILLING TO COME TO EUROPE FOR HER AND STUFF.

FIRST YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE SHE FEELS THE SAME WAY. THEN YOU FOLLOW YOUR HEART

I don't know...Australia to England? That's a long way to go. If you're a grown adult with a lot of time and money on your hands, then I'd say why not, take a trip to England just for kicks. Just go as a tourist, without her being the main focus of the trip.

If you're on the younger side, and money isn't yet easy to come by, and you'd only be going to see her, then it doesn't strike me as a great idea. A lot of things are idealized when you're just on an internet basis. While this sort of communication allows you to get to know someone, you can't really know them on a moment-to-moment, day-to-day basis. A year is a good span of time, but it's not enough if your sole contact is through IMs.

And she has a man? That's not good news. You might just be a pleasant diversion for her; you might be the guy that makes it easy for her not to feel needy and dependent in her relationship, which serves her relationship with her man well, but does nothing for you.

It's true, you never know the possibilities until you actually meet someone. But if you're not yet 20 then time is on your side, and it seems more likely you stand to lose more by taking the trip at this time.

I appreciate that you think my advice is good, but this could have been directed at the general audience here because a lot of people give good advice. Anyone with an opinion should respond to this post.

From personal experience, getting involved with a girl that already has a boyfriend is a BAD IDEA. I highly doubt she would choose you over her real boyfriend. Harsh, but probably true.

Edit: 69th post, and it was in S&A...ironic.

I thought this was going to be an ode to deadlycindy on how much you love her So I'll do it!

I love you deadlycindy! Even though I have never had any direct contact with you, I have been stalking you and reading your every post and on top of that, I have absolutely no clue what you look like...But I love you...I think..Right?

Aaah the joys of the internet

If you can't tell that this is in no way related to the topic, and I am in no way serious; I pity your gene pool.

Are you from australia or just retarded... Maybe she only talks to you to get the kicks from watching you try and type back...

I hate to be mean, but from the looks of it you need an education more than a girl right now...

Well given you used the term "meet", I can safely assume you haven't done so before, therefore making the idea of love for her quite preposterous.

I'd say go for the trip and see her if in your mind you are without a doubt that she will be worth the trip. Too many people I've known that have traveled all that distance only to find someone completely opposite to what they want in their life. So it's all up to you. Just be prepared in the back of your mind for dissapointment.

I agree with that ode, although two things are the inverse... Try and figure them out!
