Without being too cruel that is. There's this girl that I know somewhat well. She talks to me all the time about random crap, some of which she makes up, some which is true. I dont want to hurt her feelings too badly for some odd reason yet I want to make her go away and find someone else to cry to. Anyone have any suggestions?

Todesgehen: When she speaks to you just act like you're uninterested. Don't offer advice or commentary. Use words like "Oh yeah", "cool", "uhuh" often. Females don't like it when they feel they're talking to a wall. She'll get the hint.

Most likely, she likes you. Tell her you have a girl or the next time she starts a conversation, tell her you found a girl that you like and she's amazing blah blah blah. Maybe that will drive her away.

If all else fails, be frank and upfront with her.

Todesgehen - Don't go out of your way to talk to her, but be polite. Don't fake interest in her conversation. She'll hopefully get a hint.

Definitely don't feign interest. If she talks about the same topic a few times in a day, be sure to point it out. Bluntly inform her of anything that she says that you know not to be true, but never get rude. Don't hang out with her on weekends or outside of wherever you see her, and don't go out of your way to say hi, etc. Eventually, she'll go away..

And Avril, what you're doing is not funny. JarJar was funny, but you lack wit and spelling skills, so do us a favor and please die. I hope that's not too complicated for you.

This reminds me of how I acted up untill very recently around a guy.

I didnt lie or talk about myself constantly, but whenever he was around I felt so good and confident, I'd go into 'Motormouth mode' and be unable to stop talking.

He solved this problem by on the last day of School patting me on the back and saying 'bye bek. see ya whenever'

and then dissapearing off of the face of the earth never to be seen again.

I suppose I forgot to mention that she does in fact like me and has stated on numerous occasions that she wants to go out, or in the very least be fuckbuddies. I usually would be happy to oblige except for two things. One, she lives 45 minutes away, and two, she's dumb as hell.

Well, how do you know this chick? When/where do you see her? If you don't want her as a fuck buddy then you can just shoot her down all of the time. That's always fun.

If she's 45 minutes away, how do you get stuck talking to her? I think the best strategy is somewhere between Mojo's and PsychoFlower's. She may take your indifference as a willingness to listen to her ramblings. So if you call her on her stupidity (with comments like "That makes no sense") and put her on the spot when she fabricates things, she may fel less comfortable with running off at the mouth.

Avoid the fuck-buddy situation if possible. Sounds to me like you're in for far more drama and discontent than any possible benefits.
