I have been shaving for a few years now and never had a problem. Except a few months ago i got this bump in my region and its like sorta red/ purple. and it looks like theres something black inside which looks like a hair or something. i have no clue. but its worrying me and i might be hooking up soon. ive tried to let some hair grow over it but its noticeable. i dont know what it is. i was wondering if i could have some help

Sounds like an ingrowm hair.

So this sterile-y:

Use a needle and break te surface. Try to get underneath the hair and pull it through. If it's been there for a few months, it'll be really long. Pluck it and put alcohol on it.

It's somewhat of a minor surgery trying to get ingrown hairs out. It's not the most pleasant of experiences but it'll get it out. You'll probably bleed a little and develop on small-dot scab but it's better than having a 2 inch ingrown hair below the surface of your skin.

yeah thats what i thought. the thing is sometimes ive had pus come out of it too and blood. so maybe ill try what you say
