I've never said that TO get some, but I have gotten some after saying it. I really love watching movies and discussing them with people, so I watch a lot of movies. If I watch them with women, who are usually who I hang with because I hate the immaturity of other men, mostly we just watch. Sometimes we'll fool around, like if we cuddle or start kissing and it goes from there. I dunno. I like movies. I got a very shitty blowjob during Secretary. On a more serious note though, most guys are so nervous about you coming over in the first place they can't seem to think of anything but the old standbys. Such as come over for a movie or just plain, You wanna come over and hang out.

But if this person is your boyfriend and is already comfortable with you, then there is no excuse for him to ask you over under the pretense of Just watching a movie because you both already know thats not what's on his mind.Correct?

Girls tend to be smarter and better thinkers under these kinds of pressures. If it bothers you that you know his intentions, and he acts like you don't, just suggest something that you may find amusing.

Also alot of the reason guys say that particular line is the fact that it's fool proof. Which is why it's a stand by. Because the worst thing you can do is bore the shit out of a potential girl you may want to hook up with the first time she comes over to your house.

Usually a movie is a safe bet that she will be midly entertained. Thus taking a little weight off the guys shoulders for a bit, while he thinks of what to do next.

The fact that nearly everyone likes movies means that, though you may be disappointed that your watching a movie again, at least he didn't drag you to Icecapades, or a football game. That is unless you like those 2 examples.

Basically he's using something to keep you midly entertained thats a sure thing, instead of risking you being completely bored out of your mind miserable hanging out somewhere you don't want to be such as football.

Because as I'm sure you know as a girl, that us guys have a penchant for making decisions that don't cater so much to the opposite sex, when it comes to entertainment.

Just realized thats a whole lot of crap to read. Hope it's somewhat helpful. Also remember that if a guy has half a brain he should be able to figure this stuff out on his own if he thinks about it. Then maybe he will ask you what you would like to do, instead of mandating that a movie be watched.

No. In fact, if I'm watching a movie with my g/f, I only allow cuddling. Anything more than that, and I turn her down. Movies are for watching, I don't appreciate when someone wants to fuck around after I spend good money to get some movie entertainment.

The above was a very good point. The reason we act the way we do is because we have adapted to get the most sex posible with least effert.

Instead of merely accepting his offer, why don't you change it? Tell him you want to go to such-and-such instead, or that doing blank-blank would be really fun.

Of course, this is assuming that you actually want to spend time with this guy. But you don't sound too enthused.
